One of my favourite places in Chelsea - and there is fierce competition :)
This time, we were there for lunch. Sea bream was excellent, and the salads we took were divine: (1) garden peas, (3) cauliflower, (3) potatoes.
We also had coffee - the coffee is great, we were very pleased with it!
And the 2 cakes we took were a success: carrot cake, and banana-tahini cake.
Last time we were here, we came in for breakfast. My mum is still talking about the shakshuka she had there... It was that good! So highly recommended all day long!
Get a table, if you can.
I was here for dessert and coffee . I tried the raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate brownie and both are more than great , especially the raspberry cheesecake which was just perfect . The sugar and the cream are perfectly balanced I would definitely recommend it.
I had to wait for more than 45 minutes to sit outside but understandable as they were so busy.
I came again and tried the salad which was amazing. You get to choose three kinds I tried roasted potatoes and aubergine and cauliflower all were just perfect you must try them !
Went to Ottolenghi with family on a Sunday. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table. When we were seated at a table we sat with two strangers. Acceptable given the limited large tables they have, and I would rather share a table than wait another 30 minutes. The service was fine given how busy they were. The food was fantastic despite being cold/room temperature. It was cooked and at one time and it wasn't like it sat out and got cold but rather I assume the cold temperature of the food was intentional. Again the food was great just another unexpected norm. I appreciated the creativity of the food, perhaps the best I've had in London. It left me feeling clean and healthy.
