Khan's butter chicken is legendary and the one by which I rate all others. Also higly recommend the methi gosht and naan e mughziat!
We have been many times, living in London, and enjoyed the foods, and the service of the staff....I recommend !
Such a great Indian place where one can have one of the best Indian dishes at great prices and prompt and punctual service with the help of a very friendly and professional staff too.
Wonderful! Typical Indian food with well-dosed portions, all very tasty! I advise tandoori king prawn. For a Portuguese tourist like myself it's a bit expensive, but it fits into London prices. to be repeated certainly !!
We really enjoyed it. Recommend the garlic naan, chicken samoosas, chicken tikka masala and tandoori king prawn masala! Affordable and efficient.
Stylish Indian restaurant with spacious seating area for small groups of a large party. The food is a mixture of authentic tastes and also adapted dishes for the western palette. If is a well known and established brand popular with locals and people that may travel just to experience Khan. The food is very good with a high standard of cooking but portions are small and expensive as compared to other Indian restaurants. Your paying more for the location than the food.
Worth every penny for its offering.. a very homely staff.. authentic taste of the food with limited localisation of the flavours...
Best to try - Bhuna Ghost and the Garlic Naan, the Mutton Or Chicken Tikka Biryani, the Mango Lassi or may the veg or non veg thalis.. If you around lunch - don’t miss out the lunch buffet, Monday- Friday
my first dine in in london and i chose this authentic cuisine restaurant...khan’s... on christmas this place was absolutely jam packed...not a single table to sit...u gotta wait no other option...the service was understandably too slow...coming to the food...i find it a bit hyped...being from india i have tasted much more better kebabs and butter chicken than this place...but considering such a place in london ... i will still give it full marks for the preparation!!...seekh kebabs were the best followed by chicken tikka...butter chicken was too sweet to our liking... the price is well worthy and the entire experience is a memorable one!!
Was there with a group of 15 on Thursday night. The booking was at 8 but some people got there a bit early and therefore had a long waiting period to get seated. I did find that the waiting staff had a bit of an attitude and wouldn't respond when spoken to.
I should clarify that the meal had been a part of a set meal plan and had been already paid for. Thus even after we got to our seats after a long wait, we had to wait further for the food to arrive as the owner/manager wad very bullish and informed us that the food will only be served when all 15 have arrived. Bit of an odd experience for me as all other places have the waiting staff falling over each other to serve you and here they weren't interested in serving us properly, again I guess as they already had the cash in their pockets and our walking out wouldnt have affected them..
The food, when it arrived however, was absolutely delish and couldn't find fault with it even if I tried. Quantities were appropriate and everyone really enjoyed the food.
Ultimately the experience which should have been a great one was only marred by the deplorable service and the long waiting times. I would only recommend it if uou are in small groups or are going with a set of very punctual people who won't be late.
Was visiting UK with my family and we had our accommodation in Bayswater. Found this place around the corner. The food was great, especially the biryanis!
For an Indian traveller , having own country food in overseas country is a bliss. Khan was just that for us when we went for travelling to London. We had our place in Notting Hill and after whole day of sightseeing and fun we craved to have Indian food. Thanks to nearby search in Zomato we found this place close to our place.
We ordered takeaway on our first dinner . Actually we liked the food so much we ate for all the four nights from this place . Nicely decorated and just the ambience one would like after a tiring day . Bar on one side and tables on other. We had different types of chicken curries on all the days . All were excellent dishes. Little bland for our Indian palette though. The chicken biryani was the best . Perfectly cooked rice with succulent pieces of chicken. Dal again could have been spicier . To match our spice cravings we used to order extra onions and green chilled with our takeaway. All the family members liked it.
Khans was a lifesaver in a distant land.
Gr8 food. Cheaper than other indian restaurants.
Mostly busy. Had been there 3 times in my 10 days of stay at London. Biryani, butter chicken, grill....all tastes better each time you visit.
Absolutely love this restaurant, the most authentic Indian food, and has been for years! You will not find Indian cuisine like Khan’s anywhere else.
Chicken beautifully tender, rice top notch, flavours absolutely perfect, this is definitely worth the visit.
Super speedy service, and very pretty and spacious seating.
Will 100% be coming back.
The butter, chicken, chicken, korma, chicken tikka masala, and Pilau rice were delicious. The lamb chops were a little tough so we won’t be getting those again next time but everything else was absolutely delicious. Garlic naan was amazing too
Place I have visited many times.
When I li ed in the area I would go at least one a week.
That is why for me it is a must when I am in the area.
Today went with my family and for me is a highly recommended place to eat.
Brings me good memories for the past 33 years.
No thrills (or licence, not even bring your own alcohol), but absolutely glorious food
I think this was the hottest Chicken Jalfrazi that I have ever eaten, I could be not have got through it without the glass of milk!
Seriously tasty, and upper efficient service. There is a reason this place has been here for years.
We've found khan's restaurant in london by walking and gave them a try. Their food was so nice according to your taste. Staff is so co operative. They mentioned details about the dish you're ordering at that time. Quite busy restaurant. Neat and clean enviroment with a good taste
One of the very few authentic Indian restaurants that has been consistent with the taste of the dishes as well as the service provided for over 35 years. People from all over the world come to Khan's and try their amazing dishes. Whether you are a vegetarian or a non vegetarian, you will have plenty to select and choose from their extensive menu. Pravin, Jerry, and the rest of the team of Khan's offer a great service to all of their customers and they have been doing so for many years. You will feel welcomed from the moment you step into the restaurant. You will not be disappointed!
Nice food at reasonable prices, quick service and no fuss. I loved the tandoori tikka and nan, as well as the tandoori lamb chops. Whenever I am in London I always try to have a meal at khan.
Came here for a Ramadan Iftar. This restaurant has some of the best and tastiest Indian food I had in London so far. I would definitely come here again for an authentic taste of India.
Food is good. The ambience laid back and cosy. The waiting staff were very busy perhaps because of staffing due to it being Christmas eve. It was still acceptable. Do try the butter chicken.
Had lunch here. Excellent food in a laid back atmosphere. I wouldn’t call it fine dining but the food is very tasty and staff friendly. Definitely would go back here again.
