Fumo

Fumo is such a gem. I loved my experience here, such an intimate place. I didn’t realise how established this place was! I thoroughly enjoyed the food as it was served hot and fresh! The portions seem small but they are more than filling. In addition, the mocktail selection was amazing. The staff are very welcoming too. I would 100% recommend.

Had a really lovely meal at this Italian 'tapas' restaurant. Excellent service - very attentive and efficient. Food was great on the whole. They recommended 4 to 5 small plates between 2. Depending on what you choose this can be quite a lot. Garlic bread with tomato and basil and the pizza were very good, pasta carbonara was fantastic, rocket and parmesan salad was as you would expect. The sharing seafood platter was disappointing. 1 prawn each (very nice though they were), a couple of scallops and far too much rather chewy calamari - batter not crispy. More of a balance would be better and a slightly smaller plateful. Had the sharing dessert - on the whole very nice but would have preferred different selection - 2 portions of cake each (one chocolate/hazelnut and one pistachio) - nice but too similar, a profiterole (nice) and a cannoli (overly sweet) plus a small glass of marsala. Very big dessert. Felt the prices were good but wine list expensive - no bottles under £30 and up to over £99. Very good margarita though!!

This is the most amazing restaurant. The food was phenomenal especially since I requested my favourite dish, that wasn't on the menu, and it was cooked to perfection.. The atmosphere was fabulous but equally important were the staff who were absolutely incredible. All the members of staff were so attentive and knew how to be attentive without being too obtrusive. The lady that greeted us at the front door to the gentleman that we paid the bill to were amazing, friendly and helpful. Every member of staff had a great understanding of the food. Special mention though should go to Noemi who went above and beyond in helping us with our menu choices. Without a doubt we will be returning to this amazing restaurant.
