We had a pre-concert dinner at the Crypt and had a most enjoyable experience. The cafeteria-style food is not Michelin-level, but honest. The atmosphere is unique and set the mood for a wonderful concert that followed. I would definitely do it again.

The visitor enjoys the unique, positive atmosphere, decor, and food.
Crypt provides a unique and atmospheric setting for a restaurant, prices are generally considered reasonable given the central location. In addition, the staff so friendly and attentive with their service.
Overall, Cafe in the Crypt is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different in London's bustling Trafalgar Square area.
The name accurately describes what this place is, but it isn't as creepy as it first sounds. Although there are some memorial stones on the floor and on the walls, there are no tombs.
The food is a bit pricy for what it is, but the service is fast - useful if you are going to a matinee at one of the many nearby theatres.
