Good Mexican Restaurant that offers delicious tacos with very generous portions. The interior and decor are very nice, as well as the staff which were very welcoming and friendly.
Try the tacos platter and the different kinds of fries which are delicious!!

The food here is amazing. The loaded nachos are enough to feed an army and I highly recommend the buttermilk chicken tacos. In fact, if you go on a Monday - all tacos are half price, which is unbelievably good value for Central London. However, even without the offer, the food is reasonably priced.
There's a really lovely chilled out, relaxed vibe and the staff are always very welcoming and helpful. I love that this place can be equally as great for a quick lunch break or a big party with friends. Any occasion really - just great food and a cool atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend this place for a meet up place with friends, newbies or a place to stop and hang out. This place has a certain cool vibe to it without it being too edgy or try-hard. The pork and fish tacos...with extra guacamole - obviously. Next time - I'm building my own tacos!. We came to the Tottenham Court Road branch a while back before going to see The Bodyguard musical (which is totally amazing by the way - Beverley Knight is on another level) and it was a quirky, 'glad we found this place' experience.
Super quirky/cool/hip interior, and service is really friendly. Food is nice -- I got the buttermilk chicken torta: chicken is nice and juicy, and the coleslaw they put in nicely compliments it. Also, the ketchup (is it ketchup?) sauce they have on every table is really, really, ridiculously good. They've got refillable drinks as well for only about 2 pounds, which is nice. Really close to where I study, which is why I frequent this place a lot. It's a good place to bring your friends if you guys want a fun, vibrant place to eat/gossip/live la vida loca.
Bright and quick Mexican food perfect for those who want a quick bite but with a bit more comfort. When you arrive, you are seated and given a table number. You order at a till, they have both a register with a person or a computer for electronic ordering, and give your table number. About 5 minutes later, your food arrives to the table!
The food is very good. Better than chipotle, a grade under a more traditional sit-down Mexican restaurant. Their guacamole is very nice and fresh. The mains are filling and fresh tasting. My only complaint was the stylised melted cheese they serve. Can a sister just get some cheese without it being a whole production?
All in all, super fast, a more 'restaurant-feel' and formal than your run of the mill Mexican fast food joint. Clean and definitely good for people in rush.
What’s generally the most underwhelming cuisine in Britain you ask? Well I’m sorry to say it, but it’s probably Mexican. I know it might sound like a bit of a sweeping, generalised statement but here in the UK Mexican food hasn’t quite hit the mark yet. There’s barely any high quality Mexican restaurants here in London and there’s only so many plumped up burritos you can eat – even then they’re served mainly on the street food scene, full of refried beans which are dry and taste like my old school dinners. Something needs to change. Chains such as Chilango are perfectly fine, but I don’t get excited. Wahaca on the other hand, while a chain – is very good at what it does. But now the reliable Wahaca has competition (well technically it doesn’t as they created this place) because DF/Mexico has arrived – and it’s bloody awesome.
The decor is brilliant, the staff are friendly and this dining spot right near Tottenham Court Road has a bright future.
After being seated, it's a 'Nandos style' service of popping up to the counter, placing an order and waiting for it to be brought over. Whilst the queue was a bit long the food was served over within 5 minutes, meaning it's a good spot to go for lunch (even with a group as we were).
I ordered the chicken burrito and chilli fries. The chicken burrito was nice, but nothing special, lacking any sort of punch, but the chilli fries were outstanding.
For £13 I received a burrito, fries and a beer. Not bad at all for the price and I'll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu.
Visited DF Tacos for a quick bite and was impressed. The crispy chicken taco was a standout with a burst of flavors, while the cup of corn was perfectly spiced. The cheesy crinkle cut fries were a delightful side. Service was prompt and staff were friendly. Great spot for authentic Mexican flavours. Highly recommend!

If you love mexican food and are near Tottenham Court Road I must advice you to try DF Tacos. Great atmosphere, delicious food and service is quick and everyone was super nice.
We went for early dinner on mid week and it was practically full but everything went perfect! In less than one hour we were done! Ordering is quite easy as you will use the QR code on the table and you pay right away. No worry I can still order your dessert to be delivered to the table later.
My first tip: try the frozen margaritas! Wow, I tried the passion fruit one and really like it.
My second tip: queso & tortilla chips are really great, the sauce came warm and it was absolutely what I neeed!
My last tip: order one of the rice bowls! It’s the the best option you don’t want to spend a lot of money and just order one dish (£11.25) and it’s a really comforting dish and with delicious ingredients. We tried the beef brisket and the meat is super tender and flavorful.
I had the beef brisket tacos and the chicken buttermilk too. Although I loved the beef brisket itself the chicken tacos are the BEST!! I would have eaten one more!
After this we shared some churros with dulce de leche and it was the perfect way to end a great meal for a great price!
DF is the go-to place for some good quality and value food. They have great prices and their student discount makes it that much better. They always have very kind staff and have never had any problems in over 10 visits.
They have a brilliant selection of gluten free options as well and have dealt brilliantly with my dietary restrictions in the past.
After having tried most of the items on the menu, the highlights are definitely the fish tacos and the cauliflower cheese tacos.

There are a number of Mexican spots in London. However, this was a great find! A friendly welcome at the door and seated immediately on a Friday evening. The process of ordering was explained clearly. Food arrived pretty quickly and wasn't cold at all! Really impressive presentation with all items. The food itself provided mouth watering flavours, representing authentic South American cuisine. The menu offered a wide range of options for vegetarian diners. Will be back here soon! Many thanks to the management and team here, keep up the great work!
Off the busy Tottenham Court Road junction. Spacious seating arrangements. Preparations were yummy and tasteful. Bottoms up non alcoholic drink is bit watery, maybe the reason being unlimited refills. Worth trying all the options- Tacos, Burritos and rice bowls.
Delicious cuisine, offered at an affordable cost, only a few minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road stn. Prompt service and a laid-back atmosphere, a good place to catch up with friends or just to grab a quick bite by yourself.

I’m a big fan of Mexican and street food, and this place delivers a great balance of both in a really cool and comfortable setting.
Staff are super friendly, order to table directly from the app and (most importantly) it’s FAIRLY PRICED! In London… just let that sink in.
I always order the tacos, they are incredible and very filling, they arrived in about 10 minutes piping hot and are always delicious. Very fresh tasting food, that has that street market vibe to it. Everything is made there and then, and there’s great facilities and comfy seating.
I love this place. Give it a go.
