The Barrowboy & baker is very well decorated. This english pub is great. We took fish and ships and bacon with barbecue sauce m. They were very tasty with the beers. Recommended

We wanted an "Authentic English Pub Lunch" and that's exactly what we got! :)

From battered fish to pot pie and even grilled chicken it was an overall lovely English experience! Food was flavoursome.. Well price.. Portion sizes varied so some of us were more satisfied then others but still happy and full.

The staff were super friendly and loved that we were from Australia. The food was served a little over time but being in London we didn't pay much notice to that. The atmosphere was great being in a very old pub added so much to the foodie adventure. Head there and check it.. Awesome view of the London Bridge too :)

Super place for the sports fan and his/her special friend who wants to 'keep it classy', the barrow boy is not your typical sports pub. First off, its gorgeous in a posh British Pub kinda way! All wooden bar, staircase and panneling... high ceilings....massive brass chandelier...just really pretty!

The pub food is also very good and not ridiculously expensive.

Great place to go if you want to see the game (Madrid (wooooot) vs Juventes) but are with a crowd that wants a more relaxed venue.

The Barrow boy and Banker is just located in front the Tames at London Bridge station.
It offers you a good range of typical standard of pub food.

It's a little bit more expensive than all the "Wetherspoons" you can find in town but it's worth it. The food is affordable and tasty.

The Buffet Menu is definitely a great deal if you are a big group (more than ten people) and it's perfect to share with friends with a fresh beer.

It's also appreciable to have a large range of wines for a fair price.

Situated almost opposite London Bridge station, this is one of the best pubs I have personally visited. The atmosphere is lively, and the crowd is young and exuberant. The best part is that it is not too noisy, so is suitable for having a conversation. The prices for drinks and food are average, what you would get in any other pub in central London. The pies are a speciality here, and are worth a try if you don't mind spending £9. The selection of music is good, and big screens are put up for the rugby and football matches. Staff are helpful and surprisingly efficient. In spite of being crowded, food is served quickly and one does not have to wait long at the bar for to be served drinks.

Great pub just outside of London Bridge Station. Prime location. Have been here several times over the years and it's a nice starting point for drinks with friends. Staff were lovely. Very cheerful and offered a top class service. The food is very nice, as you'd expect with a Fullers. I had the mini steak pie and mash for £7.50 which I thought was an absolute bargain. The menu is also very good. Decent choice and price is normal for London. I've marked it down a star overall because the drinks were just a bit too pricey. We ventured elsewhere nearby and they were a pound cheaper in the same standard place. The pounds add up! Also marked down for atmosphere as the air con was on too much and it was too chilly. Definitely go back, though, for one!

Very busy Friday night, staff had no issue with single diner and gave great service! Dining area upstairs, private party 3rd level. Had the fish cakes and veg side, couple glasses of wine. Again, staff works very hard and hopefully appreciated!

Great location. Classic Pub. Difficult to find a table on the weekends. Staff and service was friendly and quick. We were spending time while we waited for our train so we had few bags with us.

Hot spot for corporate workers after work pints around the London Bridge area. Offers a Classic selection of pub drinks. I will mention that their pub meals are far above what I was expecting. Would highly recommend. The reason I’ve given it 4 stars is because the bar staff made a human error when ordering our meals. In return they apologised and gave us a free round of drinks which I greatly appreciated. Thank you Barrowboy and bank and I look forward to coming back for round 2.

This place was great! The staff were awesome - really helpful and happy to answer any questions, so apart from the manager earning the last of the piggy and blankets before we got there, cannot complain, lol. We had the beef Sunday dinner and it was fantastic - just more than what was necessary, so able to finish the plate and could crawl out the door at the end of the night (after a pudding of course) without needing to be carted off due to my own greed. The beef was well seasoned, the carrots and parsnips were crunch free, the Yorkie was huge, and they gave me extra gravy upon request - the piggies would have been a nice little extra, but ney mind ;). The cauliflower cheese was soft & cheese- my husband is not a fan of cauliflower but said it was delicious. I was very impressed with the meal. Finished off with sticky toffee pudding (my eyes told me I had to!) Perfect ending to the meal. Drinks are fairly priced and the cider was delicious. The overall decor is respectfully paying homage to its history and I lived the metal on the edge of the stairs. Would have loved to see if the old safe was still in the basement, but there are pictures on the walls to give you some sense of how it used to look. Definitely a place to visit for a good meal, great service, and drinks of whatever you like.

This is a great pub. Nicer atmosphere than the average pub. Our server was a bit quirky, but very good. We ordered SLOW-ROASTED TOMATO, ROCKET & TRUFFLE MAYO ON SOURDOUGH with triple-cooked chips with added bacon 5/5, and CHALCROFT FARM BEEF BURGER, Cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onions, triple cooked chips 5/5, the added bacon 5/5.

Beautiful place. Great to come by if you want a beer or a drink. We came here for dinner perfect english place. It was our last dinner in London and it was amazing. I didn't picture the fish and chips but they looked very good big portions here too.

I came here twice during my recent visit. Very nice and bright bar in a former bar. Great to stop in for a drink for a break from Borough Market or a nice meet up point. They had a good variety of beers (non-alcoholic as well). Was surprised by the quality of their scones which were available until 5pm. Their three times fried chips were the best we had in London. Also, the staff was very attentive to food allergies. Will definitely stop in here again.

This is a great place to meet for a Sunday get together. The roast was OK, it just needs to be more gravy as the meal was quite dry. Our area where we were sat was lovely but it needed more waiting team. Nice servers!
