Fantastic and authentic crepes prepared by two friendly and knowledgeable French chefs.
Notwithstanding the long queue, the crepes are well worth the wait!
NB - this place accepts cash only.
Additionally make sure you go to the original creperie called 'La Crêperie de Hampstead' and not the knock off, with blue & white striped awnings, located just opposite which goes under a similar name and is unrelated to the original creperie... See photo...

I’ve been coming here for years maybe since early to mid 90s to date. The service and quality has always been good even if we have to wait 45 minutes to an hour on occasions and it’s always worth it.
The staff work pretty quick once you’re at the front it doesn’t take long till you taste the magic. Mmmm
I’ve slowly introduced le creperie to the kids and it’s starting to become a fav of theirs now. which I can’t work out if that’s a good thing or not as we seem to be detouring there more than often.
If you haven’t been, give it a go!

Went on a Saturday, there was a long queue, we ended up waiting for 50 minutes in line! The service was good and quick. Had mushroom in garlic cheese and milk chocolate with coconut. Both really fresh and burn-your-mouth hot! The fillings are extremely generous and the crepe itself is so yummy!
Note: they only take cash but there’s an ATM across the road. Downside is the waiting time, its too excessive to wait so long for a crepe. Maybe on weekends a few extra helping hands can be a good idea…

This crêperie is a legend. Be prepared to stand in a queue for 50 minutes to be part of this legend! If you don't feel like queueing, another crepe stall is only 5 metres away, but I haven't seen anyone buying anything there. Perhaps it's out of respect for the authenticity of the original crêperie de Hampstead, or the other crêpes are not so good, or both? The choice is enormous: about 20 savoury options, and 20 sweet options. The prices vary from £4.50 to just under £10. Both cards and cash are accepted. It's a street food outlet, so no wifi, no WC, no seating, but there are public benches nearby, and some people sit on the pavement. The service is a bit slow because the pancakes are cooked on demand, and the cheese is geared, the bananas etc. are sliced in front of your eyes. Overall, it's a very genuine, authentic experience for a good weather day, or night!

Wowowowowwowow: wow.
Great sweet crepe, fantastic savory crepe.
Why not crepe? Sometimes cash only, sometimes cash and card. We are confused but: wowowowowowowwowow.

I ordered a butter and sugar crepe and it was amazing. It was very fast and kind staff. If you go at night you have to wait a very long queue but I think the wait is worth it. Now the atmosphere doesn't really count because it's in the street so that's why I'm leaving out atmosphere.

Legendary place! Pancakes isn't just a dish here, it's an experience. From the sumptuous Cheese and Tarragon blend to the bold Buckwheat pancakes, this place serves stacks of joy. And at the helm of it all is the chef, the maestro ensuring every bite is a delectable symphony.

This place now accepts card payments which allowed me to try it out (first attempt was unsuccessful since I did not have any cash on me). I expected quite more from Tandoori Mix option. It had just a sprinkle of Tandoori spices while I thought it would be more on the side of chicken marinated in Tandoori sauce or something. The ratatouilles made the whole crepe taste more like pizza to be honest. The portion size was not huge at all. Overall it was good but I expected much more from the value you pay and the queue you have to wait. I loved galettes in France much more. Their crepe with ham and cheese was good though so I might try it again some time

Generous cheese and ham fillings. So satisfying. We waited in the queue for quite some time before they finally told us that they only accept cash. Fortunately, I had enough extra cash to cover my friends’ expenses. They should just put up a note. However, it was totally worthwhile for the queue

Crepes are huge, lovely and buttery too!
Only marked down for the lack of other fruits than bananas! No strawberries, cherry, mango... But that's minor as they were fab!
I have to mention the cheeky creperie outside the pub, about 4 meters away (blue and white branding, named la creperie!) I'm sure people get confused, but the original creperie is the one in the mobile van, not the tent!
