Frequented Micky's back when it was a more modest chippy shop. Post renovation, it is better than ever. Staff are friendly and attentive. Fish and chips are great. Try the platters if in a group.
Just the best fish and chips in town. Worth every buck. Small restaurant, perfect for a quick bite. Friendly staff. Would I go back again? Yes!
A walk down paddington and we spotted this place. With thought of trying the famous local cuisine fish and chip in mind. We stepped into this place.
No doubt this was the best meal of our stay in london!

Recommended by many locals in town - I finally got around to give it a try. Once again the only downer were the soggy fries - but very friendly people and you can hardly find a tourist around here!
Nestled behind the larger Fountain’s Alley restaurant (which also serves fish and chips), this is a great little no frills place serving up fried favorites at reasonable prices. Within a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station and across the street from the Sr Mary’s Hospital archway, the fish is great. Fries could be a little crisper but overall good taste. I had the house special with mushy peas. Cost me about £10. Quick service, friendly staff. Easy in and out.
I can recommend fish and chips :)) All the portion sizes of fish and chips look the same though. The Micky's special looked the same as the medium fish and chips and was much cheaper. If you are a tourist this place is perfect. Good prices you can get a full meal with a juice for 8.45!!
A Gem of a traditional fish and chips restaurant. Located in Norfolk Place W2. Opposite St.Mary's Hospital. A wide choice of traditional food is available, served quickly, with friendly table service, and most importantly very tasty food. Pricing is also very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This is, in my opinion, the best fish and chip shop in central London. I've tried a good hundred or more restaurants and fish and chip shops in London but this is, hands down, the best. Having come from Yorkshire I take my fish and chips very seriously. The chips are cooked perfectly, not too hard, not too soft. Fish is always tasty and fleshy and batter done well also. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and location. Every time I head into Central London I go there and I'd highly recommend it to anyone else too who wants good fish and chips done properly.

Lovely place nearby Paddington station and St Mary's Hospital. The host is nice and so are the staff. The food come out fast and decently priced. The batter is fluffy and light. The portion is big that I could share with the kids. Whenever in the area, stop by and enjoy some fish and chips.
Small restaurant right next to Paddington station. They only had Haddock fish option. We did a takeaway and it was well-packed. The service was friendly and quick orders.
The chips weren’t too well cooked and more like half boiled potato wedges. The vegetable roll had too much dough.
We ate at Micky's while on our European family vacation June 2023. It was absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh and so were the chips. There was 9 of us on our family vacation and we all agreed it was one of our best meals the entire trip. We went to Germany first (to visit family), then London, and last Rome. London was our favorite stop and we can't wait to go back.
