Le Relais De Venise L'entrecote - Soho

Le Relais De Venise L'Entrecote (Soho) is alright for a one-off visit/if you've got some sort of discount deal. I think the usual price (of £25 for just the starter and main course) is a little much. The food was OK. I didn't really like the taste of the sauce. It didn't taste too fresh. I also think the waitresses' uniforms (that look like maid outfits) are a little odd?

After many years of highly rated recommendations from friends and family, I decided to go here with my friend for lunch. The menu is simply good, you only get to pick three things, what you would like to drink, how you would like your steak cooked and finally what dessert you would like to have. The pepper sauce is really delicious and unlike I have ever had. The staff were very informative, extremely nice and welcoming. This is a place I would like to come back with my wife one day.

Okay for a one-off visit, provided you use some kind of discount deal (found one from their Instagram page). Not much to say about the walnut salad, the grilled steak is standard cheap fare that a lot of restaurants have on their menus (not that soft or flavoursome), French fries were a bit overdone for my liking and their signature house sauce is alright. The dessert menu has more options however le London cheesecake and les tartelettes au citron were nothing special.

Great steak frites. Set menu. Salad was great. Steak was cooked just right. Fries are wonderful. Good service, fast. One complaint, it did not seem the portions were well measured out, we asked for a little more steak for our daughter as her first two portions were quite small. They charged us for an entire extra meal, but the manager made it right with us. That said, know that at this location you get 2 servings of steak and fries for the set menu price. Any more will cost you extra...this was not well explained and not the way we recalled it worked in Paris several years ago.

Hunted this place down after a good mare recommended it... It didn't disappoint. Don't expect variety because they've nailed a set menu. A little strange to see everyone eating the exact same thing, but once you try it you understand why... Don't mess with the system just take it the way they give it. You're in a safe place 😜

Very disappointed! We have been to this restaurant a few times (mainly in the bank Branche). I decided to take my partner there for a birthday dinner as we usually like it.. upon arrival we were not greeted for 3-4 minutes and waited at the door. I asked in the reservation for a private table and instead we got a table in the middle of the restaurant which was I acceptable. Worse over the food was almost cold and not very tasty. Staff was not enthusiastic at all when serving and did not make you feel welcome. The coffee ice cream desert was horrible and my partner barely touch it which went unnoticed. 75£ for this horrible experience was such a waste of money...
