This my go-to place for breakfast in South Kensington. It's a little hole-in-the-wall full of local. The continental breakfast is a bowl of cornflakes with milk, a flaky croissant, orange juice, and tea. Cheap, adequate portions, good. Friendly staff.
See a few posts saying average, would disagree and found it good value, reasonable for the location.
Have to bear in mind this is a very pricy area of London, there are a few deli style cafes in the area but this is a cafe. We went here after a stay at a nearby hotel who wanted about £25 a head, we had two good breakfasts around £14.00
About 50m from the tube so easy to find.
Brekkie extordinaire. I first visited 2003. Gob smacked with all inclusive breakfast with Cappuccino included. Bacon, eggs, sausage, baked beans & toast. I go out of my way to return just for the friendly re-connect & slip 2 doors up for the internet.
I really like this place as it has good services and the breakfast here is really tasty. I am a new comer to London and I am glad to find a cozy place to snuggle in.
Thank you. I came here to eat every day during my stay in London for my semester abroad. This place had excellent service and great food. I loved the owner here he was such a kind man. On my last day in London he helped me lift my luggage onto the cab and gave me his subway pass even though he didnt know me at all.
A very welcoming and cheap place for a quick lunch in South Kensington.
The atmosphere is quite busy, but the staff very quick and prompt !! I had a classic cheeseburger, which was nice and of generous size. They put all the toppings you ask for and the salad was very fresh. A detail I loved because usually side dishes in burgers' fast foods are not as good. Go and try it out. Very casual place.
Very good service. Clean space, food arrive fast. Me and friend have English breakfast plus bubbles. Portion size is good, even get two drinks (choice of coffee or tea AND orange juice). Price is decent. Only accept cash but there's cash machine right opposite the shop. A lot of builders and cabbies here as customers, a good sign of portion, I think.
Cheap and cheerful, you get what you paid for. Had the vegetarian breakfast and it was all very tasty. The veggie sausage was extra nice as it wasn't trying to taste like sausage and did its own thing. Not a place to go for an excellent meal, but when you need something nice and cheap, worth it
Friendly staff, good food and decent price.
Had breakfast here on both mornings of our stay in London. Food is cooked well, plenty of choice from Continental, Full English or breakfast sandwich etc. Husband and I each had breakfast with tea/coffee and juice included in the price what we paid for both would have gotten us one breakfast at our hotel. Would definitely recommend coming here.
Me and my two brothers took my dad on a weekend trip to London to celebrate his birthday (he’s really old). We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Science Museum.
The food was pretty great and it wasn’t too expensive, considering the location. I highly recommend, if you’re planning to take an elderly relative out for breakfast in the South Kensington area.
Great cafe. Its nearly 4pm and we came over from Paddington just to enjoy a very late brunch and great prices. The staff are always welcoming and we can then walk off calories in the museum's near by
I was looking a place near my hostel to have a breakfast and found this little place. They serve english breakfast all day and they have all other things you can eat not only breakfast. Reasonable price, girl that was serving me was super super nice, even tho se was really busy.
Little expensive for a greasy spoon perhaps, but then again it's a really nice greasy spoon in South Kensington. Consistently good food and service. Quick too so good for work lunch breaks.
Great, friendly staff, with awesome service. Good value for your money... locals come to eat. English breakfast till they close. Worth coming back!
Lovely affordable food in a picturesque area. Perfect for a greesy spoon style breakfast with more than reasonable prices on a quality full English. Would definitely visit again
Good food, found a green patch on my grandsons toast, but was assured that it was a colouring from a knife, I was supposed to have an orange juice with my meal but didn't get it, but the price was quite reasonable considering where it was. Also nice and friendly staff.
