Everything was amazing about this place. My girls and I walked in for a late lunch. The staff were well dressed and welcoming. We did not have to wait for their service because they were on time and very helpful. Our waiter suggested the Korean chicken and 'oh my', it was so tasty. There was some nice music playing in the background and we enjoyed the vibe. I would definitely recommend it. Its pretty and the bathrooms were clean and had a lovely smell.
Booked to eat here primarily due to the atmosphere of the restaurant with a really wonderful theme to it all. Everything was created with such care and attention. The food was excellent, particularly the presentation of the oysters. By far the best way I have ever been served them. Would definitely recommend. We spent about £100 on food for 2 people.
Definitely lives up to its name and standards, the best in-store restaurant. It could stand alone as a destination spot, but to find it amongst a bustling department store, is a welcome treat. Go in for a quick bite, or dine extravagantly, you have all options available. All available in a light, airy, space.
We enjoyed our food and the cocktails were fantastic, we were given recommendations from the staff on things to try from the menu's. The service was great from all the staff and the food and drinks were prompt to the table considering how busy the restaurant was.
Treat yourself, and give it a try.
If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast spot in London, Brasserie of Light is definitely worth a visit. This restaurant offers a top-notch breakfast experience that's hard to beat. The food is delicious, with a range of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Whether you're in the mood for a classic English breakfast, avocado toast, or something sweet like pancakes or waffles, you won't be disappointed.
But it's not just the food that makes Brasserie of Light stand out. The service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure that you have a great experience. They're knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations if you're unsure what to order.
The ambience of the restaurant is also amazing. The decor is stylish and modern, with plenty of natural light flooding in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to start your day.
Overall, I highly recommend Brasserie of Light for breakfast in London. The combination of great food, excellent service, and beautiful ambience make it a standout choice.
Generally ok, nice decor, good mixed crowd, fast and fairly attentive service. Food above average but certainly not special and not at the same standard as its sister restaurant the Ivy. You would have thought that in a place like this, your coats would be offered to be taken to a coat check but very surprisingly no! And that your napkins would be refolded if you left the table for the restroom… basic stuff…. If the price was 50% less then it would be a 5 star…. But at these prices too many other superb options within a 100 meters…
Delicious food, we had the oysters, steak tartare, duck, squid ink spaghetti and desert platter. Everything was very good and the presentation was above and beyond. That said the presentation may have been a bit much, the oysters took up around 2/3 of the table for 6 oysters. They also have high top tables for some inexplicable reason.
The food was very good, I've had better of just about every dish we had but typically for much more money. Overall this place is kind of a value powerhouse, you could easily plan a date here and spend under £130.
Absolutely amazing experience with the best service and food.
I can't say how much I enjoyed the duck breast or trying the squid ink pasta. The presentation of the oysters and dessert platter was out of this world!!!
Highly recommend!
The place is grand. The design is awesome. Classic and shiny, all glimmer and glisten, with a huge window which brings in lots of light.
Service was expedient and deliberate.
Food was okay. We got shrimp popcorn which was good, and a burger whose patty was overcooked and dry.
Prices are on the high side of okay.
Overall would go again just for the grand decor, and the trendy clientele.
Went for dinner and the experience was a very good one. They were able to accommodate our request to change the booking at short notice (we had to arrive 30 minutes later) and also our request to change table. Food was tasty as were the cocktails. Ambience is surely memorable! We will gladly return.
Absolutely spectacular food, and for the quality of it, it's actually quite reasonably priced. The Chicken Milanese in particular was SO good; it was cooked to perfection and the combination of flavours was so well-thought-out. The sourdough bread is also really great for a starter, it arrives hot and fresh. Great champagne and cocktails, and the atmosphere is very beautiful. It does get very busy so I definitely recommend pre-booking as otherwise there's a likely chance you won't get a table. The food can sometimes take a while with how busy it can get but it's worth it because of how tasty it is.
