Nice waffles... good gelato. I had a waffle with a scoop of chocolate and marshmallows.
Everything tatsed fine. .. but was not the best I have eaten.
If you haven't done so already you all need to pop yourselves over to Scoop, a place where Italian gelato never tasted better.
With the big names such as Amorino, Haagan Dasz and Snowflake all very close by there's plenty of choice for a quick fix of the cold stuff in Central London, but trust me when I say this place rocks.
I wasn't actually expecting too much from Scoop, but I left wanting to go back and try more flavours, more cone options and even some waffles. They have it all.
I chose the pistachio and salted caramel flavours. Both were utterly delicious, I can't praise the quality of Scoop enough.
I also tried the Tiramisu (amazing) and the bitter rich black chocolate, if that's more your style.
The cones were just as good. Crunchy but melt in the mouth, sorta like sugar snaps...just wish I'd got the cone covered in nuts, doh (facepalm).
Scoop have a handy list of what they put in each flavour on their counters, so if you have certain dietry needs or requirements (no alcohol in my case) then this is a great way to know what you can and can't have.
I think I'll be heading to Scoop from now on rather than the bigger chains in the Central London area. It's just that good.
Eat the best ice cream in town..
Lovely flavours and number of flavours rather😝
The best ice cream at the best price seriously!! Thumbs up👍
Amazing.... On a cold December night, what to eat for dessert? Gelato! The display case looked great, well represented. I tried the dark chocolate, and it was everything I would want, and more. The best gelato I have eaten.
Absolutely lush. The nice girls dollop it up high and if you go when its quiet, and you're nice to them, they'll let you sample the goods. Yum.
Amazing italian icecream and very resonable place. Nice even in the winter as there are some seats inside!
Divine Italian gelato, made with ingredients sourced from Italy and the UK. I love a sizeable scoop of the Nocciolo made with hazlenuts from Piedmont, their spiritual home. The coffee, dark chocolate and caramel varieties are also sensational. Even worth
I meant to do this post ages ago. Like, back in June or something when it was actually warm. It was supposed to be a teeny tiny guide to the handful of places in London that sell this delectably frozen treat also known as ice cream (ok, not just ice cream
If you think that ham with melon is weird, that cheese and honey should never go together, or that the border between sweet and savoury should generally never be transgressed, please look away now because I am about to confirm what you really don't want t
I kind of stumbled upon Scoop whilst exploring soho and convent garden and honestly was pleasantly surprised. There are a wide array of flavours once can choose from, it tasted a lot more like gelato than ice scream as it was very creamy and rich.
I ordered a hazelnut chocolate mix which tasted incredible, there was options of cones, waffles and churros that one could choose from. My friend ordered a strawberry ice cream which also tasted great. Theres not much else to say about this joint, it was good and perfect for dessert.
Recommended to me by a friend this was a massive throwback to my honeymoon where I went to Rome and the proper ice cream I had there.
Some really nice selection of flavours even later in the day and with decent portion sizes though steeper starting price I think that this place is a great treat for oneself.
No real outside seating to speak of so that is the only drawback to what was some excellent ice-cream.
Just so you know as well this was cash only but I was lucky enough to have some.
Big portions, good selection, decent price. Service could be faster, 4 people per 10 minutes all buying cones when at least 10 are queuing is very slow.
Very good selection of ice cream, staff helpful, place looks clean and appealing. Nice crowd not too loud.
I'd suggest you ask for recommendations if you are not familiar with their food as some dishes may come too spicy.
Allergy advice available on request which means staff no longer will ask.
Be aware that some things never change and peak times this place becomes crowded, small delays in food delivery or refilling drinks are a normal with this amount of workload on waiters so be considerate.
I had a good time and can reccomend this place without a question.
One of the best places for me. I often go there because of the good prices. Sometimes I wait a lot for my order, but for me this is understandable- a lot of people are going there to enjoy the good flavour.
I am a fan of the cocoa ice- cream. If you go there you should try the Gelato cakes too. They are delicious.
For me it is the best Ice cream shop in London. Perfect location in the hearth of the city. The tastes are just perfect. They don't sell ice with sweeteners but real cream. I love the pure chocolate one. It is a bit pricey but worth it for a real ice cream. The staff can't be more helpful and friendly.
I've tried a few reputedly "amazing" ice cream joints in the UK and none come close to the flavour of what you can get from Scoop. Often a long queue out the door for people grabbing their scoop, a must-go-to place for ice cream! I have to have a flavour that is not excellent.
Great! One of the best ice cream places in London. Green tea is a long time favourite, but the helpful are happy to let me sample many other flavours. Atmosphere inside is not fantastic, but i usually take my ice cream to go in any case.
A small, easily missed but very good Ice Cream parlour with a good selection of ice creams including waffles and crepes.
Eat-in space is limited to a few 2-seat tables at the back but it can provide a nice spot to take a break.
What I can say? Amazing ice-cream - the best I have had in this country. The shop is small but there is room for a few tables if you would like to sit-in. You will often see a queue out the door when you walk past. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
I've been going to Scoop for years. Ever since it first opened. I used to go only to this one in Covent Garden but conveniently they opened another store in South Ken a year or so ago, which is much closer to where I am at the moment.
I really can't fault the place at all. It's so delicious, worth every penny. Try the milkshake if you get the chance - it's amazing!
