I had dinner today at Anima D'Italia and without exaggeration, it was one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at, to top it off it's completely halal. I'm a very fussy eater but I have to say the food was delicious, completely faultless and was served piping hot. The food is AUTHENTIC Italian, prepared by an experienced and talented Italian chef. The staff were also extremely friendly, making sure my family and I were okay at all times. I would like to mention one particular member of staff, Naz, who was amazing. He was extremely friendly, outgoing, funny and bubbly. He also recommended us different dishes which turned out to be delicious. His customer service skills are exceptional and he made sure my family and I were comfortable, relaxed and well catered for.
The waiter with the glasses was also extremely friendly, especially when he put a candle on the table I was sitting on because it didn't have one :)
I have been to many different restaurants but have never written a review about my experience whilst dining there. However, Anima D'Italia is worth writing a review for.
I will definitely be going back there again and would recommend it to anyone . The one thing I think they should consider is a takeaway option in the near future .
All food are very good, specially Pizzas.
I've chosen Vegetariana pizza wow so yammy :) I love it.

Me and my sister try to find some place new to eat every month for a meal and came across this place, we loved it so much that we've been there three times already.
The food is really nice, we always go for pasta dishes and the portion sizes are very generous. The service is great as the host and owners always have lovely manners and make time to speak to you.
As a Muslim it's really hard to find fully halal restaurants that make food different from Indian cuisine or kebabs. They really cater for Muslims who want to go out to eat but have something different.
HMC approved. Small restaurant. The food was impressive although I wasn't expecting much. The calamari rings tasted good when dipped into the sauce but bland without. The fish cakes had a spicy kick to it which I liked. And the fries were also good.
I ordered the Chefs special pasta and it was good. The pasta was a tiny bit too hard for my liking but everything else tasted great.
The chocolate explosion was very nice and cannot think of any faults. Chocolate was intense and the cake was soft and gooey on the inside. This place is worth a try as the only halal Italian place for miles.
Second time I visited Anima D'italia and I was not let down. Food was amazing as always and I'm definitely looking forward to going there again.
I'm not a huge fan of Italian food so when I saw this new restaurant opening up I wasn't particularly bothered. But one night after a film at the Genesis Cinema across the road (which makes it convenient for a date night by the way) me and my wife decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The decor inside has a nice rustic feel to it but modern at the same time and it's nice and clean. The service was very good although there was only one other party in there at the time so to be fair they had ample time to attend to any needs or requests we had. Most importantly, the food was delicious. I recommend the meatballs with spaghetti bolognese. Although the carbonara was served with beef rather than the usual ham, it was still very nice. All in all a nice little restaurant with good food. Can't say fairer than that!
The food was of a good standard and worth the price, much cheaper than other places and the restaurant is HMC certified! Refillable soft drinks were a nice touch. A few improvements needed e.g. a smaller menu (way too much to choose from!), smaller placemats in the middle of the table (it kind of got in the way of my plate) and a better/bolder sign with a better front to help it stand out a bit amongst all the corner shop type places nearby. Overall I'd go back again because it was worth it and the little girl with the red scarf gave the place character, she was very attentive and gave us honest recommendations.
It was really refreshing to go to a restaurant which was not a griller, indian, turkish etc. We went to the restaurant based on Zomato reviews and I was not disappointed. I took for my family with me and the staff were very polite and accomodating with us as we wanted a private area. Its a nice atmosphere but certainly could do more for private areas for families. But they have used the space best way possible. I found the tables to be a little bit uncomfortable and almost like tall coffee tables but i overlooked that when the food came... cheese heaven! We selected a few dishes and when it came to the end were given vread to wipe down the sauce... was a delight to our palate. Good portion size too. Only downside was that we could have desert as we had other plans at home for something sweet. In addition to that.. coukd do with a gormet pizza if ever they venture out.Great place to dine for peace and pleasure. I would certainly go again.
Excellent authentic italian food, with a waiter who seemed to know what he was doing! My sister and I had visited Anima D'Italia for a late lunch, and decided upon having two starters, two mains and Tiramisu for dessert. We both went there with very little expectation as every time we passed the restaurant, it seemed relatively quiet. However, the food was excellent, very authentic and full of fresh and lovely flavour. The bread was even soft in the centre and crunchy on the outside, just the way I like. This is one of the best halal restaurants by far. Nonetheless, the restaurant needs to advertise more to ensure that they continue to stay open to serve such excellent standard of food! We will most definitely be back to taste a few more starters and mains, and hope that the service and food will be equally as excellent as we had tasted in this experience.

Love this place!! East London needs more Halal Italian eateries instead of the 1000+ burger and steak places. What I loved about Amina D'Italia was that I was able to enjoy the traditional pizza toppings- we chose quattro formaggi and fiorentina. There were none of those tiresome American style pizza toppings here on the menu (think Pizza Hut and Domino's).
We also tried out the deelish tiramasu ❤.
Prices are a little high but we would return (to try out the pasta menu!) as we had good food and received an excellent service. They were quite busy with Deliveroo orders, wish we lived close enough to enjoy the deliveries!
Great little Halal Italian. Decent food portions. Great flavour. For starters I opted for the recommended plate of different starters. Some were very nice and some were basic. The chilly sauce that came with it was excellent . The pasta dishes were good.
This is the only legitimate HMC certified Halal Italian Restaurant in London (possibly in all of southern UK, maybe in all of UK). The food is authentic pure Italian cuisine and it is delicious to say the least. The pizzas are mouth watering, and the pastas are decent. But there was one dish that shined and that was the Tiramisu; it had the perfect balance of sweetness and creamyness and was crafted with 7/8 layers. The workers gave me superb hospitality and I felt welcomed. I highly recommend this Restaurant to everyone, especially the Muslims because it most likely will be their only Halal Authentic Italian Experience.
The food served at this restaurant is downright delicious, fast service and really nice staff. All the products come Italy ( I took peek at the kitchen and saw my favourite Italian food brands) and that really does make a difference in taste. Really suggest it to everyone who wants to eat real Italian food. As shown: Margherita pizza and Lasagne
Amazing food and amazing people. Great place for the Authentic Italian food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My daughter was unwell so they made special soup for her that was outside their menu and she loved it and felt much better. Can’t wait for covid to go away and we resume again our dinning there.
The fettucine was delicious and the tiramisu was simply delectable."The best tiramisu ive ever had" my friend described it as. We shared a pizza capricciosa which was very good as well

Wow the food is very good, the team warmly welcomes you, the dishes are greedy, hearty and tasty. We speak a pretty French and Italian. Congratulations to Madam for her Tiramisu. Good address to share.
Really nice halal Italian. Food taste good and fresh. The manger was by him self at the front, so was a bit rushed off he’s feet. Managed to cope well juggling
Authentic Italian food - everything thing is made in house including the pizza dough fresh. The food is very well cooked, clean and healthy. Very large portions and filling. The also provide authentic spicy oil and seasoning at the table to suit your own taste. The food is very bland though as its italian and not indian food but very delicious in its own taste.
Environment is very quite - perfect for a conversation or a romantic dinner. Staff are way too polite and overall I had a wonderful experience.
