Traditional boozer. V great, does the business + more. Decent pints, friendly vibe, off the beaten track and all other related cliches. Really sweet outdoor area as well - would definitely recommend. Gunning for one of the best pubs in SE1 but probs not inside the top 5

Outstanding, classic pub in a quiet, nice neighborhood. The kind of place I would love to have as my local drinking establishment. Came in the early afternoon on a Saturday and they had all the appropriate sports on the TV. Families slowly streamed in. Seems like the perfect spot for everyone in the area. Every room inside was comfortable. Even the bathrooms were great. Bartenders were very friendly and poured a good pint. Landlord on cask is a winner for me!

Had a fabulous dinner and drinks. Nice atmosphere. Food was very nice, desserts were also lovely and well presented. Warm welcome when we came in. Great service - always checking in with us. Good range of wines and beers also! Team member who served us was quite knowledgeable about the range of drinks and made sound recommendations. Would definitely recommend Lord Clyde 👌

I travelled from Ireland to my family reunion on 23rd October 2023. We came from all directions, to The Lord Clyde in Borough. What a great local pub. John and his staff couldn't do enough for us all. A great bar for sports fans too. I loved this cozy pub. Full of character and a great atmosphere. Borough has everything. My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Its a lovely area and very safe. Lots of families about. We plan to come back again and The Lord Clyde will be our first stop. Great food and top staff. Great pub with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I love the vibes in there and the selection of drinks and food is good too 👌 definitely a unique pub. An extra star from me for being dog friendly! 😊

Came here for work drinks and I was very impressed. I reserved a table for us as we were a large group and the communication was brilliant. We were served promptly every time we came to the bar and the selection of taps was great. The staff are friendly, kind and funny! Would definitely go back again and again. I think this might be our new after work drinks place! Thanks to the whole team for being so accommodating!

Lovely Gem of a pub we stumbled across on our recent visit to London. Lovely friendly atmosphere so we decided to stay a bit longer and have some food Fish & chips all around for my Family. Manager (John) was very welcoming & Friendly we will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work.

Had the pleasure of visiting here again over the weekend, lovely atmosphere for the rugby and the pub was well and truly decked out for the festivities. Lovely food and great variety of drinks available can't wait to return. Well done John and team keep up the good work 👏.

Lord Clyde is an absolutely cracking pub, great range of drinks and top notch pub food to boot. Always have some sport on the TVs as well, can't beat it for spending a chilled evening with your mates. Been coming in for over a year now and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nice to know central London still has a real pub, run by real people.

Visited this place recently with my friends. The staff could not have been more lovely and Mags was a true delight. The pub is very reasonably priced for the area and we sat in the lovely beer garden soaking up the sun. The food was wonderful and the drinks matched. we will be back very soon.

I've visited the Lord Clyde several times now and its always been a good experience. Good choice of drinks, great quality food and friendly staff who are clearly passionate about the pub and ensuring great customer service. Definitely recommend to anybody in the Southwark area and beyond.
