An hidden gem in the heart of Chelsea. Be ready to surprise your tastebuds! Seriously yummy food - aubergine with plantain miso and pecans is to die for. We also loved sea bass ceviche and blackened octopus. Quick service, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Really excellent food. Silly small glasses Ask for fluent English speaking waiter as our charming lady was very very difficult to understand, which at £70 a head is not an unreasonable ask

Our last day in London we went to Chicama it was kind of hard to find a spot. Food was amazing! Service was great! Had an amazing dinner. Definetly I will visit again.

Chicama is a seafood restaurant on Kings Road. A welcome addition with its Peruvian cuisine, it completes this corner of the far end bit of Kings Road adding to the gorgeous Eight Over Eight and Medlar a stones' throw away.

You may get the feeling that this bit is way too far to venture too, not being close to Sloane Square tube or any tube for that matter. Yes there are buses in the area, but you need to be ready for an uber, taxi or bus to get here. If you are local, then lucky you. That said, this foodie corner represents, and it makes it worthwhile.    Chicama is a light airy space with a terrace for the Summer.

We popped in for a cocktail just before the lunch rush. I have had the pleasure of Peruvian food before from Andina which is amazing. The light, fresh ceviche is something very appealing. On this visit to the area, it was purely for a  bit of secret research. For our quick drinks, we opted for a Pisco Sour and an Old Fashioned. Both drinks were good, with my guest complimenting the Pisco Sour in particular. As this drink is of Peruvian decent, you would expect them to know what they are doing.     I will certainly pop by for lunch at some point too! The lowish score is because I have not eaten there yet.

Chicama is a surf resort in Peru. It is also a rather fabulous restaurant in Chelsea’s World’s End where they serve Peru’s national dish, Ceviche. Ceviche is basically raw fish cured in a lemon or lime juice and spiced with chilli peppers. Often it is eaten together with sweet potato, popped corn, plantain or avocado. I first came across it when it was prepared for me by my oldest and very dear friend C, who came to visit me in London from South America. She laboriously shopped for all the ingredients and made a feast for the Gods in my kitchen. I have never looked back, and certainly as far as I am concerned, it is more of a World’s Beginning than its end. Ceviche is healthy, fresh, tasty and utterly moreish.

Small (yet sizeable) plates. We ordered quite a fair bit and every dish was as delightful as the next. The fish tastes fresh, the fusion Peruvian works splendidly.

Chicima, located in World’s End, Chelsea, is the little sister to Peruvian powerhouse Pachamama. Peruvian food has been super popular lately and having been to Pachcmama, Chotto Matte and Coya as well as actually going to Peru last year, I can say the Peruvian food in London is second to none.

I really like Pachamama, so when I read they had opened a new spot in Chelsea called Chicama, I immediately made a resi for a dinner. Menu has no meat and is centred on seafood and veggie dishes . We had several delicious dishes such as the octopus and crab salad and some just ok....

Chicama enters the London restaurant scene with much pressure. Its sister restaurant, Pachamama, has been one of London’s favourite Peruvian joints since inception. As such, one would wonder whether Chicama could equal Pachamama’s success, or even surpass it. Especially as the younger sister, located on King’s Road, does not serve meat.

Tasting menu was a phenomenal experience! Excellent amount of food for the price point. Staff seemed passionate and were incredibly helpful. Non-traditional and exciting flavours. Best aubergine I have ever tasted.

Delicious food. Great service. Staff were very professional and informative. The design and decor was also lovely. We celebrated an early birthday with friends there. Yes! We would go back. I forgot to take pictures from most of the dishes.

Lovely late lunch experience at Chicama. The lady who served us was really nice. We were very happy with lunch tasting menu. Cheese cake, which they just started a week ago, is a must-to-taste dessert. The banana one in the lunch tasting menu was also worth waiting. Nice cups for tea and coffee.

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming and energizing; and the food is delicious! We had the grilled octopus and sea bream, both perfectly cooked on the grill, and the servings were generous too! Bonus points for having an open kitchen so you can see all the action! (Top tip, sit at the bar to enjoy the show).

Came for my birthday meal on a Wednesday. The food was delicious, even the veg was a knock out. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended the Viognier white wine too. They brought over a candle and a card which was a lovely touch. 4 stars cause I think £10 for one scoop of ice cream is a ridiculous price to charge but it is Chelsea. And also we were a bit cramped on our table with me right against a door.

Lovely restaurant from a great group of restaurateurs. Similarly to pachamama and zephyr this is a beautiful restaurant that instantly makes you feel at home with it’s beautiful interior. Seafood was very fresh, we liked the majority of the dishes a lot (don’t skip dessert!!). Service was slightly slow / inattentive but it could’ve just been a bad day. This restaurant suits many occasions, wether a date, a family affair, or simply bringing a good friend. Can’t really go wrong!

Great addition to the Chelsea dining scene! Peruvian-styled seafood dishes, but caters very well to vegetarians as well. Some of my favourite dishes were the fried aubergine and the cauliflower, although the monkfish cheeks and the banana & yuzu dessert were also fantastic. Good value tasting menu. Lovely terrace to sit outside and enjoy the sun, and friendly service as well.

Bustling little restaurant serving South American seafood dishes. We ordered the seafood platter and the grilled octopus was so so so tender! Generous amount of scallops, squid and fish filled with crusty sourd bread to mop up all the saucy goodness. Tip - do book in advance. It was fully booked when we were there. Would I return - yes, just to try other dishes on the menu! Value for money - 👍🏻
