I just love the atmosphere in this place! amazing art work and the dramatic curtained entrance - it's really charming - like being swept into another world. Brought my partner here for his birthday on a friend's recommendation - it was really special. The food was amazing. - Beef Rossini - yum - foie gras, beef filet, rich red wine sauce - perfect! loved the flambeed Baked Alaska - it was so big, glad we shared it - but I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the dessert list. The staff were professional yet warm - our French waitress recommended an amazing Chilean wine - bit strange for a French restaurant - but very good. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.
Top nosh. This is top quality French cuisine, serious stuff. Magic. Gorgeous. Real treat for a special occasion. And very special atmosphere.
We went to this French restaurant for a friend’s birthday! On entering this restaurant, one of the first things that I noticed was that it was a lot more spacious than what I would have expected and the lighting was just right for an evening setting.
Simply one of the best quality French restaurants in London. Great attention to detail and consistently fine cuisine. Staff are welcoming and attentive. We have thoroughly enjoyed every meal.
Amazing food and great atmosphere and the staff members not only were really friendly but also professional!!
Magnifique 🤌 Unassuming French restaurant with a dark and mystique ambience, proper French waitresses and stereotypical menu to match. Great quality ingredients, classic dishes done properly and serious wine list to compliment. Lovely spot for a spontaneous date or a celebratory meal 🍷

I chose the 3 courses for £29 - there was only 1 option per course, but things I would have chosen anyway.
Starter- goats cheese soufflé
Main - sea bass and potato
Dessert - cream and fruit flaky pastry
The staff were attentive and great, and atmosphere was good and the company amazing!
What an amazing experience! The food was finger-licking good especially the gnocchi and scallops! Would highly, highly recommend and would visit again 100%.
Aix is superb — the food, the service, and the atmosphere are all truly excellent. And consistently so. It’s a real pleasure to have such an exceptional restaurant in the neighbourhood — a true culinary jewel.
Probably the most satisfying meal I've ever eaten anywhere, and I enjoy eating out. The quality was top-notch, as was the service!
I'm probably classed as a slightly picky eater now, only a few things I can't stand, and willing to try things I swore I would never eat previously (hence the snail and the rabbit). A very nice main, nothing to compare it to, but it didn't feel or taste overdone and the potatoes, mushrooms and mustard sauce were a very nice accompaniment. Especially the potatoes. The duck was a bit tough on the outside, but the inside looked good (I only tried a bit of the outside as it wasn't mine) and the chips were nice.
I didn't get the waiter's name so I'll ask, if he's there, when I go back.
The menu made everything sound good, which is rare. I don't eat meat when out unless the welfare standards and quality are assured, which they are here, so I have free reign! I want to try everything at least once, but the baked Alaska made me gush to everyone I speak to about it and want to drag them right there specifically for it, although I also want all of the other food... Choices, choices.
We had a beautiful meal here the other night. The rabbit leg and lamb are very flavorful especially when paired with a glass of Boudreaux. Highly recommend if you are craving a high quality French meal! For dessert I recommend the chocolate fondant - to die for.
Absolutely love this restaurant.
Authentic French food prepared the way it should be, delightful.
Everyone who works there are so attentative, really genuine.
I would highly recommend Bistro Aix to anyone who appreciates all the hard work that goes into making this culinery delight.
Go!
Excellent food and service. The staff seem to have built quite the rapport with many regulars which is always reassuring! Everything was fabulous. Music is a tad questionable but thats subjective I suppose! Thanks again! Absolute quality!
Bistro-Aix tends to be our 'go-to' North-London restaurant for special occasions through out the year. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere calming whilst also convivial. However, it's the food which is the main draw:- the seasonal menu is varied, and always incorporates many appealing options (including vegetarian options). I have to say, that on all visits, I've never experienced a dish which was anything less than delicious.
