Tap coffee, maybe is the black facade with the huge number (No 114) and no mention of the name but something always attracts me to the place. 3 Locations around London with the same. feel and offer, a relax place to share a coffee while catching up with friends.
Really cute cafe with a small but delicious and vey varied selection of food! Serves very good coffee too :) would definitely recommend for a little coffee break!
They're known for great coffee (and awesome hot chocolate actually), but their food is also delicious. You can get a slice of homemade quiche and a small salad for just over a fiver - a rarity in these parts. And forget the 'small' tag, there's absolutely plenty there!
Among all three TAP branches in town, this one is my favourites. I found
this branch is great for summer time, the bright and interior full of natural light introduced by the big windows particularly attracts me.
They use their own beans from roaster in Soho, always well balanced texture and nice aroma. I have never ever get any disappointment here. Their staff is always very friendly whether you're ordering coffee or buying beans, they know what they are doing and they always offer nice experience.
They seem to have a pretty strong design and branding function as their beans packaging is simple and nice, with a lovely play card on. The cold brew uses an old fashion milk bottle, so cool and cute and the loyalty card is the best I've seen. The only thing I would say is their cold brew could be better as their hot products are great standard.
Honestly, the best coffee and cake combination I've ever had in London. The coffee is particularly impressive; I could clearly taste hints of summer fruit and not a hint of bitterness. Whilst the cinnamon swirl doesn't compare with some of the Scandinavian outlets, it's pretty good. Overall, worth a visit if you're serious about your coffee. Some lovely latte art too!
Loved this little cafe close to UCL! The space was really down to earth and authentic, and the barista were really nice as well! Not to mention, the coffee was STRONG and the pastries are on point.
Continuously lovely coffee in a busy part of London. Service may be a little slow but the consistent nature of the Lattes they churn out is up there with some of the best London coffee spots I've been too. Decor is pretty decent too. Only gripe would be the congregation of people in the middle of the room - difficult to know whose ordered and who is waiting to be served. Minor gripe for a top notch spot. I
Lively but relaxing atmosphere when I visited mid morning on a weekday. Fresh and pretty little breakfast pots. Too much water and not enough milk in the flat white for my taste and definition, but tastes vary...
They have 3 types of chocolate for hot chocolate, and you can mix them, which is really cool! Very comfortable and quiet coffee shop even though it’s next to a busy road, will defo come back!
Great little coffee shop. The coffee here is not for the faint hearted...its strong and has a punch.
Now seems be part of the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs.
One of the first and best third wave coffee places in London. Their pour over is hard to beat.
Nice coffee. Majority of staff we're nice. One was a bit uptight. But nice urban decor with good quality coffee
Lovely latte art. And fresh sandwiches. Cozy and warm atmosphere.
