Sorry I have been a little occupied (mainly traveling and eating lots of food) and thus I am writing lesser these days! But now Iam back! Lets start my London foodie trip on a sweet note which the much hyped Yolkin! So this is a Macaron Icecream Popup Shop which runs only on the weekends between 12-4 or if they get sold out (whichever is first)! I took my family hunting for this place because we heard so much about it and due to the lack of any signs we almost missed it! Is it worth the hype? YES YES YES! The macaron icecreams are nothing but fantastic and they have a variety of flavours ranging from Milo, Milk and Cookies, HK Milk Tea, Blueberry Cheesecake to Peaches and Cream, Green Tea, Cornflakes and the list goes on! New week- new flavour! Must visit on your trip to London town!
The one thing I never got to try in Seoul was macaron ice cream sandwich. The portions served up in Seoul were so huge my friends and I never had room for desserts. Fast forward back from my holiday and summer. Then suddenly Yolkin appeared all over my social media feed. Pastel coloured shells with ice cream sandwiched between the two taken at all sort of angles. Yet sadly due to its popularity they always sold out on a Saturday when they were trading at Whaam.

I've been wanting to try for a loooong time, and finally I get to try it today. It's actually bigger than it looks like in photos. I tried the almond brittle and I liked it, the macaroon is chewy and it tastes goooood!!
Great choices of dairy free ice cream. Friendly staff who are very helpful. Would th recommend the rose flavoured aswell as the wowbutter. If you are a fan of palmaviolet sweets then you are in for a treat with their violet ice cream! Good to see a place in Soho catering for vegan desserts.

They have super cute Macaroon ice creams. We got the white panda 🐼 and a blue cookie monster with red velvet ice cream filling. It was exceptional, both the macaroon and the ice cream was delicious. Will definitely go back.
This place is a hidden treasure just off Chinatown on Rupert Street but well worth the visit for the best ice cream and macarons in London!!! You can tell that it is homemade and made with care. The flavour combinations are also amazing and true to its roots.
The staff are also welcoming and friendly and ready to help with any questions to help you to choose from such a wide selection.
The decor is also bright and welcoming with seating also available to relax and enjoy the ice cream macarons sandwiches!
I would definitely recommend Yolkin for families also and for anyone wanting to enjoy a delicious dessert in central London!
Ice cream lovers must come here and try the macaroons ice cream! Huge portion, suitable for 2. This place always come up with new flavours and designs so it’s always exciting. Flavours are good too.
Popped into this ice cream shop while visiting London. Macarons were crisp on the outside and chewy in the centre, which made for an enjoyable ice cream sandwich. Flavours were great - we tried the matcha Oreo, taro, red velvet and egg tart (our favourite of the 4). £5 is a little pricey for an every day treat, but quality was good.
The macaron ice-cream sandwiches at Yolkin are amazing! I had the red velvet one. They also have Asian inspired flavours. They come in big serves. The staff are extremely friendly. I would highly review trying their macaron ice-cream sandwiches if you are in Soho.

Lovely small little ice cream place with such good looking desserts! And not only do they look good, they taste just as good too! Very surprised from the quality of the desserts - most places now are a gimmick and only look good/“instagrammable” - but these are so worth trying, they’re amazing! The service was also great, the staff were lovely and so sweet - we went with two children and they even joked about with the kids. Definitely coming back here again. The menu was amazing - ranging from milo ice cream, to red velvet ice cream and cookie dough and blueberry cheesecake ice cream macarons! It was a delight ❤️
Yummy treat! I tried the smores ice cream sandwich and my partner had the coconut (Thai style I think it was) they were both delicious and not overly sweet so I could actually enjoy it fully. The macroon is is a great substitute for cookies for an ice-cream sandwich! And great for anyone who is gluten free 🥰
Actually surprised with how great this place was. Most “instagram food places” never live up to their hype but this really did. There’s many unique flavours and you can mix to your own liking, you basically make your sandwich. We had brownie with red velvet ice cream. It costs 5.50£ but for that, the ice sandwich is huge and the brownie is filling too. Great for sharing. Worker was nice and helpful, pretty interiors and good location too! Will definitely try to return.
The best selection of Asian flavours - pandan, black tea and more! You can pick between the cute ice cream macaroons (which are very generous in size) or scoops of ice cream. There’s plenty of space to sit inside and have your ice cream sheltered from the London weather.

It is made up of a chocolate macaron 🍫 and a big scoop of chocolate ice cream 🍫 with some honeycomb niblets 🍯 It was divine! 🤤 Although for some it might get too sweet with the macaron, but I loved it 💕
They have many other flavours and I can't wait to come back and try more of them 🥰
