Authentic Italian food in London, best fried zucchini I can remember, recommend linguine and clams. Great Italian restaurants always have grappa…this place does.
It feels like home. Delicious food ( Italian of course ) best service, lovely classy place , very clean and comfy. The music on the background is a bit too old, but maybe good for the '70 nostalgics. Will return next time I'll have a job in Bank
A gem of a place, so glad we discovered it. Wonderful food and fabulous wine. A good time was had by all. Will certainly make this a regular for evening meals out in London
Charming Italian restaurant with great atmosphere. The food was also really good.
Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)
The food is good, probably starters and second courses better than pasta.
Some desserts are good but I didn’t like their version of tiramisu.
Is not cheap if you are looking for a 3 course dinner but reasonable being in St Pau’s area, they have also set / special menus and the portions are large.
Staff is very nice and service good.
The owner has Italian parents, the atmosphere is the same of a typical italian cosy restaurant. At the end of the dinner you might meet the owner eating and singing with friends.
I enjoyed very much Vitello tonnato, Carpaccio with truffle fondue and the lamb
Delicious, flavorful Italian food! Highly recommend the ravioli and the vegetarian pasta. Their desserts are heavenly, especially the tiramisu.
The Italian restaurant is alright, it’s a nice small place and a bit hidden along Bow lane. We had wine, the Tiramisu, and a selection of pasta.
Great portions, good service, excellent prices, classic old Italian, can hear eachother speak - a gem in the centre!
Amazing food and kind service in the heart of the city. We’ll be back. I recommend the fish.
