Great food & pool table ! This place has just reopened and the food is amazing !! I had the chicken burger and my friend had the vegan meatballs, both tasted delicious!! Bottles of wine are very reasonably priced too !

We really enjoyed it. Very long list of gins and beers. Food was a bit slow, but it was quite crowded so that’s ok.

This is a really cosy pub. The bar staff are really friendly and welcoming. A small but perfectly formed outdoor area with heaters. I was so surprised to find a pool table at the back of the pub. So for the last part of the evening, we challenged each other to a few games of pool

Have no idea why some people are knocking the food at this place. It has kept us coming back several weeks in a row. The Sunday Roast is absolutely sublime, I defy anyone to say otherwise. Such a fantastic chef and all cooked fresh to order so yes you have a little wait but its better than the dried up pre prepared gruel you get from some pubs. Staff are also great I highly recommend you eat here, especially on a Sunday.

Thoroughly loved our time at The Wellington for a birthday lunch on a Saturday lunchtime. The best fish and chips we've had and the sticky toffee pudding is to die for! Looking forward to coming back one evening to sample some of the 60+ gins on offer!

My fiance and I booked our engagement party here and had a fantastic experience. We had the whole back space of the pub, including a bar, and organised food trays from their menu (EVERYONE commented on the excellent sausage rolls)! Jon and the rest of the staff were so great and helpful before the party and on the night. All in all it was a fab evening and all our guests loved it! I highly recommend!

Really nice pub with even nicer staff members. Handled the pub really well during the England game. Only down side is pints came in a plastic cup which made them taste a little funny. Well priced pub.

Just realised that this has re-opened 9 months ago - used to be one of our favourites for Sunday Roast, so will have to try it again soon. We were there on a Saturday and had the Wellington Beefburger - hit the spot and great fries!
