What a great oasis. This is the second time we've visited when staying with our daughter. The atmosphere is excellent, along with the choice of beer and wine. What takes this place further is the food. The choice is plus specials is terrific, nice nibbles to share and varied selection of mains.
Service is excellent, and with the open kitchen you can see most of the food prepared but even more so any grilled food is there before your eyes. For those warm summer days they have a beer garden.
On our last visit we had a choice of nibbles, humus / pitta bread, lamb kofta and char grilled peppers. For my main it was the pork and chorizo burger with cheese and fries washed down with a pint of oatmeal stout.
Will we be back..........oh yes
I would like to thank the amazing staff for having my sister's baby shower there today. The food is amazing and the staff was helpful. Would recommend this venue to everyone.

Great find in Bow! Lovely team and a very nice pub, with a perfectly formed Beer Garden. Food was very good and the service to-table was super friendly. Would definitely go back.
Had blast over a couple of pints. We went here with our daughter who is local and knows the area well. We had a blast. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful and took great care of us. We had an excellent time and we will definitely be back. If you haven’t been, you need to go and check it out.
Lovely pub! Traditional neighbourhood pub that has a good ballance between people having a drink and people wanting a meal. Great selection of beers in tap (lots of 5 points brewery) and other local lagers, plus your standard Guinness etc. Felt like a good mix of people here too: locals, families, friends celebrating birthdays and lots of dogs too! Will have to come back for food one day, but definitely worth it for a pint or two. Good staff also 👍
Love this place - the food is super good! Everything we tried was very tasty: the Sunday roast, the chicken wings starter, the steak and they are still doing 10£ main special on weekdays. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is one of our favourite pubs in the area.
Friendly staff, decent selection on tap. Nice garden out the back. I enjoyed the calamari, not the freshest, but still pretty decent. Quick service. I'd recommend and I'll be returning.
Friendly staff and decent atmosphere and menu. Only downside has been occasionally arriving to a closed kitchen due to staffing, but that seems to be getting better
Came last Sunday there was a different chef she Seasoned the carrots and potatoes and the pork belly was amazing! The Sunday roast lacks consistency and love be sure to hire a chef that cares like the lady chef 🙂
Lovely bar really lively with great atmosphere. We popped in for a pint and stayed for dinner. Recommend the boneless chicken wings and the short rib burger. Home made chicken Kiev to die for! We sat outside under a huge umbrella no draft or weather problem. Table service was prompt, we were looked after by Rory who couldn't do enough for us. Top boozer, with a visit!
Just moved to the area and this is a fantastic new local. Great atmosphere, plenty of stuff on throughout the week and nice staff. Looking forward to visiting often!
Decent local with a couple of old time Eastenders having a lunch time pint in the “battle cruiser” but the pub was mostly full of New white collar type Eastenders who earn lots of money working at Canary Wharf.Three very polite and efficient barmaids we’re working and the place had a fair selection of lagers and a few real ales but in truth most Eastenders new and old avoid the ales it would seem.
Quite a few people were arriving to eat and the menu board had a large selection.
Another pub that I’m pleased to say appears to be doing well in the East End
