Great to have this place back since the pandemic. Still the best value hot lunch in the city. Rice, beans, plantain and your choice of 1 of 3 meats for £6 (if you bring your own food container or £7 without) is both incredibly tasty, great value and environmentally conscious. They also need to strongly consider bottling and selling their garlic sauce separately.

Very excited that Cubana is finally back open for Streetfood at lunchtime. The rice, beans and plantain has got to be the best value - and most delicious - lunch in this part of town. Pls. You get a quid off if you bring your own tub - what's not to like?! Can't recommend visiting Christian and the team enough.

Ok this is a well deserved 5 star rating. As soon as you walk in you can feel the atmosphere. Very friendly staff, funky decor. I particularly like the fact the kitchen and bar are in the dining area and the seats we were in felt like we were in the kitchen (which was incredibly clean and organised. Drinks came fairly quickly. Delicious cocktails, followed by the most amazing Cuban food I have ever eaten. Staff were very friendly and attentive but not in your face. We went in the evening on 16/11 celebrating 4 birthdays in our group and were treated to cake & a fruit platter. Toilets were very clean!! Pricey? Not really for its location. The amount of food we consumed was reflected in the end bill. Overall I definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Went here for my wife's birthday celebration on a Wednesday at 430PM. Unsurprisingly, place was quiet but waitress was attentive, it was happy hour and food was nice - we ate from the pre-theatre menu. Place gradually got busier for live band playing Cubano music that started up at about 730PM, with Happy Birthday in Spanish! Mucho food and drink for four adults - over five hours, £150 in total which I thought was reasonable for Central London! Waterloo branch also good.
