I didn't know what to expect and was blown away with what I got. Experienced the amazing friendliness of the chef, the incredible presentation and unbelievable fresh tasting food. I don't live locally, but I will making a beeline to this deli when I am next in Town. Thank you so much

Absolutely delicious food made with love. Also always great to support a family run small business. I can’t reccomend more highly, just nourishing, healthy and incredibly tasty cuisine.

Such a warm, welcoming, cozy little spot where you can taste and feel the family vibes! From the bowls to the wraps to the full madamas to the coffees, everything on the menu is stellar, but I find myself coming back for the soup over and over. So simple and so tasty, especially on a chilly day. If you’re in Notting Hill and craving some nourishment for body or mind, stop in to Babajani.

Inconspicuous best described as a hidden gem I guess. Walked up and down portobello and nothing quite took my fancy. Almost walked passed the place it was so humble looking. Felt like a real escape from the big shiney cafes and the tourists, a real community feel. The sort of place you can go and eat and relax. . The food was excellent, fresh, and tasty, tried the kurdish eggs and it is perfect for when you want something healthy and not the usual breakfast thing. The lunch stuff looked amazing too, bowls of healthy goodness, definitely going back. Staff were all very lovely and friendly. Ooo and the orange and pomegranite juice was inspiring.

While the lower part of Portobello Market can feel overrun with tourists, this place made us feel like a local spot for local people. The owner is warm and friendly and explained his creations really well. The bowls are absolutely delicious, the chicken that is tender and well balanced with sweet and spice flavors. The other elements were given the star treatment too. My favorite thing is the pita that lined the bowl - all the items are dripping juices onto it as you work your way through - yum!

We visited during August’s Eat Out To Help Out scheme and wasn’t disappointed. Buddha bowl was delicious, fresh, colourful and filling. Sat outside on a very quiet street (due to road closure) on a warm day. Lots of veggie options. The beetroot houmous is excellent.

Just finished having a fantastic lunch at Babajani. Kris gave me a very warm welcome and talked me through the menu. I had the bowl which is the signature dish and what the business was founded on. I can honestly say that it was delicious! I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Loved the green shakshuka and date jerked chicken bowl! Reasonably priced and right on the street where all the shops are! Only note for the restaurant: The roti that comes with the dishes are a bit dry and chewy

This place is awesome! My partner and I are in here almost every day. The owners are so lovely and welcoming; they remember your order and always make time to talk. My favourite is the vegan bowl, but the wraps are just as good. The eggs in the mornings are a nice treat, too. We rate this place and the family so highly. Thank you guys for always taking care of us :)
