That’s something that a lot of people accuse me of not having. I admit that I am one to enjoy fastidiously planning much of my day and seem to always have a plan in mind. My rationale is that it makes life more efficient. Although when I am with one particular person, if I voice such thoughts, they are not always received well. In such situations, I console myself by telling myself its a free world and people have a right to a different perspectives. Especially bombastic, imbecilic, moronic individuals…
In London, you hear people say "lets get some Chinese today" or "I feel like Italian today" but never "I feel like some British today." But I do, then I go here.
This place resembles a posh British Mesh. They used to do Venison Steak, which was the best, but not anymore. The soup of the day is always nice. The cutlery in a Tin on the table is a touch of boarding School feel, but it feels somewhat homely. The solid unpainted tables don't look out of place in this place. The decor is minimalistic. Most importantly, the food is good and wholesome.
On your way out, don't forget to buy some organic bread in their local shop, which is always fresh.
Nice place for breakfast or lunch in East London. Relaxed environment, friendly staff and fresh bread to take away from the deli. Try the turmeric almond latte as well as the crab toast - they're really good!
I've been at Albion several times around tea time and I have to say they probably have the best scones in East London! On a sunny day you an enjoy your drink or food outside and inside the decor is so inviting, like a nice kitchen in your friends house. Albion also has a great grocery shop filled with gourmet goodies and a nice selection of breads and vegetables.
Good food, good atmosphere. Quiet for a Saturday night, but a nice and chilled vibe. Service was friendly. Grab a seat by the window to people watch, so many interesting characters in Shoreditch.
A very cosy restaurant in Shoreditch, the trendiest part of London nowadays. Food is delicious but staff seems a little exhausted because of the crowd. Their own beer Albion Pale Ale and Sticky Toffee Puding is really worth to try..
Best brunch of the week! The staff was kind enough to let us change our mind a couple of times ^^ Service was quiet fast and the meals were well done well prepared ! Love it. The shop could be improved with more organic products, and typical local products. I Love the whole experience!
Super busy on weekends, this Shoreditch staple serves mostly traditional English fare with a wee twist here and there. Best for brunch, though it's probably not the best place to linger after your plates have been swiftly cleared.
Tough at first to figure out what this is. Cafe? Grocery store? Restaurant? All the above, I guess. We stopped for tea and a quick snack. Service was prompt if (seemingly) disappointed that we didn't order more. Clearly has a kid-friendly reputation judging from the families in evidence.

Is this the most beautiful plate of food you’ve ever seen? The avocado, poached egg, and smoked salmon breakfast was exactly what I what this morning. Oh, and the poached egg was perfect.
I love their bread and the food quality in general is great. I wanted to say thank you to the lady who is the manager I believe and her team for being so sweet and kind.
Scrambled Eggs on toast is a delicious steal at £5.50. The eggs are creamy smooth and plenty of them piled onto a big slice of white bloomer. Add a pot of coffee, grab the papers on the long family-style table and this place is Sunday wrapped up.
Amazing food, quick work by the chefs to turn around meals, wait staff completely unattentive which was a shame.

Yes, loved the cafe went a couple of times for small plates and wine. Great friendly and efficient service. Decent prices. We did go to ask if we could use their roof top bar early on and later only to be told no. In fact I think being an older lady I didn't suit the 'vibe'.....ah hum went elsewhere and spent ....
