Loved my first visit to the Barbican, the free exhibition was very interesting, had a nice coffee and cake overlooking the lakeside and really enjoyed the architecture tour. There is a great vibe here with people working in little nooks and a feeling that you're welcome. The architecture tour was £15, 90 minutes long and very thorough, you even get to go into a maintenance tunnel. Well worth it to support this place. Long live the Barbican!

Wow! What a place! I only wanted to visit the conservatory as I saw a video on Tik Tok recommending a hidden gem to visit!
Unfortunately, there was an event going on and will have to wait until it's open to the public. I read on the website that they will reveal upcoming dates regarding this!
I explored inside the centre but it was tricky as a first timer to find out how to get inside the building as it felt like kind of a weird maze with twists and turns! Inside was the same too! As there were stairs leading to different areas.
The gift shop was very expensive! But it was nice to have a little wonder and look around.
There are a number of seats to sit down and places to chill.
There was a music shop and wanted to visit there but did not have a clue in how to reach that particular area. Weird or what?
Will definitely come back and explore its architecture for sure!
It's history was definitely interesting to hear about via You Tube. Have a look, have a look! :)

This is a jewel in London’s crown. The space is awesome; the freedom to just exist, to work, to relax is great. No one bothers you. No one judges you. No one asks you to buy anything. The WiFi is strong, and it’s true whether it’s busy or otherwise.
I built the foundation of a tech company from the Barbican Centre. I’ve spent countless hours here and haven’t a bad word to say. If you’re someone who requires absolute silence to work… bring headphones, or head downstairs.
I’ve come here with a ton of luggage when my flat flooded and I had no where to work. No one said a word; but they offered to watch my things while I went downstairs to clean up.
I’m so thankful for this place. I can’t even imagine not having it; it gave me the space I needed when it really counted to work with peace.

The Barbican Estate, London.. Wow what a place... An Iconic place to visit in itself and well worth arriving early to have a good look around the impressive architecture that is on offer here. Seems like an interesting place to simply spend some time exploring. A break away from the rest of London which can become a little.. samey.
The Barbican as a venue is just as impressive if not more so. The sheer number of performance spaces is incredible. I was in the Pit on the 2nd Lower Ground floor which is accessible via the Lifts or stairs from the main foyer.
A small, intimate 150 person performance space with raked seating, the performance that I saw (Chagall) was amazing. Not an experience I will likely forget any time soon.

Such an amazing theatre and art centre in the middle of the city. There is a bar and kitchen with good seating area and great views of a pond and fountains. Very peaceful. We went to watch a play at Barbican theatre which is huge. Seats are very comfortable and the staff was very friendly

Iconic London arts centre with lots to see and do. The Barbican has a theatre and a conservatory among many other cool exhibitions and spaces.
The conservatory is a wonderful oasis of calm, and I love to come here to be among the diverse range of plants.
I recently went to a late at the conservatory where they were showcasing a new installation of sculptures intertwined with the plants. Wonderful.

Truly timeless magnificence! I walked the whole afternoon to admire the buildings and architecture and details. Real treat for a spatial designer like me.

It is such am impressive place. The mix between concrete and nature, the details, the attention for every building and its purpose is even more impressive when I'm thinking that is was build when this careful architecture was not the norm.
The Roman wall, the lake with its coloured water to give the deep to the water iub order to compensate the high of the buildings around, the high path ... are all points to mandatory see. Also, the architecture tour is a must. Definitely
I just felt in love with this place, is brutally charming with all the balconies full of flowers, ducks at the door...I wanna live there.

It has a very beautiful path. There are so many twists and turns that you may lose your way. It is a very special and attractive environment. The design of the buildings are tied together with trees and plants and has created a very beautiful environment. In some areas of this collection, you may lose your way. You will see few people along the way and you can almost say that you are visiting there alone.

Probably the most interesting living area in London. A good preserved 1970s architecture building with a lovely inner courtyard. An escape out of the loud city noise. Besides the apartment buildings there is an event venue, a couple of restaurants and a library and exhibition space. The school for music is directly next door.
