Excellent pub about 10 minutes walk from Colliers Wood tube station. Six cask ales - and three ciders - on handpump when I last visited. Some outdoor seating. An attractive two-bar 1950s brick building built to replace original demolished during the war and now extended with a conservatory. Has been identified by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) as having a regionally important historic pub interior. Rescued from likely permanent closure in 1994 by Hop Back Brewery; this is their only London pub.

Lovely homely pub for a more mature set. Garden and Atrium as well as the bar layout. Clean and neat. Great Guinness.

What a fantastic pub! Great to find somewhere from the Hopback stable in an unassuming location in the backstreets of Colliers Wood I love a bit of Summer Lightning and came on a few recommendations and The Sultan didn’t disappoint. A very traditional feel with friendly staff and a great selection of well priced ales and some more standard lagers on draught. There’s plenty of outside seating too and the situation on a quiet side road is very pleasant too. Well worth the trip over this way.

We're so lucky that this is our local. Great real ales and the Entire Stout is a favourite too. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Really worth a visit even if you live a bit further afield.

Very decent pub tucked away in the back streets. Worth the extra bit of effort to find, especially if staying in Wimbledon. Fabulous Summer Lightning beer.

My favourite pub in London. I'm lucky to live nearby, but friends from Croydon and Brixton travel to meet me here because they love it too. Good beer, super friendly staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We need more pubs like this!

Warm welcoming neighbourhood pub, with friendly knowledgeable staff. Having tried most of the GBBG pubs, this is one of the best in South London that has (based on two visits split by 6 months)consistently well kept real ale from one of the best brewers in the UK. A bit off the beaten path but worth the journey. Seasonal ales, but the summer lightning golden bitter and entire stouts seem to be on most of the year and are exemplary of the style.
