The highest class Pakistani people come to eat here therefore that says it all about the food quality and presentation. The food was delicious and very well prepared. The location is prime. The restaurant is really cute and clean and well ventilated. When in London and you want some traditional Pakistani food this is the place ! A+ !
Forget all the bad reviews and don't think these guys have paid me or gave me free food to write a good review .. the story goes something like this.. so me and my hubby are big Desi food lovers and we were travelling for a week hence no Desi food ..finally we got to London, we had one night Desi food with our friends in Victoria (not gonna mention the name of place) but yyukhh!! Food wasn't nice .. so next day we decided to try our luck again .. we went to gymkhana at 930pm and they said the were fully booked and couldn't accommodate just the two of us (pretty weird and we felt they were bit snobbish) anyways so we ended up in salloos but we weren't sure because of all the reviews ..but the food was pretty good considering we were in London.. staff was nice ..place was clean ..so I think you should give it a go .. everything was nice but do try the haleem / biryani is their own recipe which is very nice..overall it was a good experience
This place is amazing and you have to go if you want fancy Pakistani food. Starters are the best for me, their famous lamb chops are super good to say the least. It is expensive but then again it is a fancy restaurant in the heart of knitsbridge, London.
One of the best if not the best Pakistani food in London. Cosy restaurant, however given this is my 4th time in 2 years the consistency of quality, taste and atmosphere is fantastic. A bit on the pricy side, so if you are expecting to pay the same as your cheap on the street food, then don't bother going. This place is for the exquisite tasters and people who appreciate quality food. The best dish is the Ghoshr Kahari, and their tandoori kebabs. You have to start with the mulltigunwany soup.. Simply delicious.
Salloos is a tiny restaurant located next to Barclays Hotel at Kinnerton Street that serves delicious home-style Pakistani food and is surely worth visiting if you're shopping at Knightsbridge or Harrods. I tried the Palak Ki sabzi, Haleem Masala with Naan and Paratha. While the former was average, the latter was outstanding and tasted even better with hot Indian breads. Overall, the food was simple and not too oily. Though it's priced on the higher side, it's worth every penny. Unfortunately, their tandoor wasn't working so those items on the menu weren't available on that day. However I'll surely go back for their Haleem Masala and of course to try their tandoor items.
We found this gem thru Google Maps. The restaurant is so quaint. The host was very welcoming. We didn't have reservations, but she greeted us with such a friendly approach. We are a party of 4, so we decided to have a family sharing style. All our food was prepared fresh and all very tasty. The serving portion is ok (maybe we are so used to US standards, haha). But service is the highlight of our visit. Try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!
We met the lady owner of the restaurant as well. All the best, Salloos ~
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Knightsbridge. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in London. Highly recommend and cannot wait to be back!
Had an impromptu dinner here with friends and was absolutely superb. The chicken tikka especially was one of the best I've had in London and I've tried many tikkas over the years. Slightly more expensive than your local curry house but not exorbitantly so and so very good food and flavour wise. Nice venue to with great staff, I definitely want to go back and savour more of the menu.
We were 4 and so had a fairly wide selection. Alongside the tikkas I also enjoyed the keema nan, Lamb chops and other kebab orders. The curries were also good.

Last week I went on a date to Salloos in Knightsbridge. The atmosphere was elegant.
For starters we had lovely seeded poppadoms, jumbo tandoori king prawns, and for our main chicken shish kebab served from an iron skewer, lamb curry, their signature chicken karahi, pulao rice and lovely red wine to go with😌
The best Pakistani food I have ever had! Will definitely be going back.
It’s a wonderful place for a romantic dinner. Hidden gem in the heart of Belgravia. It’s on a little side walk right opposite the Berkeley hotel so it can easily be missed!
Excellent service from everyone. First time to try Pakistani food so can’t compare but food was good overall.
The cosiest restaurant in Knightsbridge. Stumbled across this gem wandering around after a day at Harrods. The signature chicken shish was served fresh off the grill! Lovely atmosphere and nice music. The staff was so attentive keeping everything clean. Definitely the best Pakistani food I’ve had in London.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is very delicious and the service is very homey and welcoming. Once you try them you will definitely come back.
I am a fan of homemade, traditional cooking and by far this is the best Pakistani restaurant I have been to. Salloos is the perfect restaurant to dine at after a long day of shopping. It is incredibly cosy yet chic and clean, the staff is also very welcoming.
Most important of all the food is absolutely delicious. I am now a regular customer and as it is just by Berkeley hotel, we usually pop into the famous blue bar after dining at Salloos. During this time I also order takeaways which is just as enjoyable. I recommend with all my heart!
Very nice, but you're paying a hefty premium for the location. Food not really different to or better than you'd get in a decent local restaurant.
AMAZING & tasty food. A friend living in Knightsbridge who loves eating out & ordering many takeaways as I do, recommended Salloos. I was amazed to learn Salloos has been open since 1976 & somehow I have missed it!
My son & I recently decided to try their food, ordered a takeaway and tried a few of their dishes, all simply tasted the best Pakistani & Indian we have ever had, with so much flavour.
Regular customer now that we have tried their fresh & delicious tasty food. Can’t wait for Lockdown to be over to eat there.
Highly recommend if you are a food lover, like us!
