Lovely service, great food and happy to accommodate a dish adaption for my fish intolerance - so I had the rare beef noodle soup and a side of green beans with minced beef and garlic instead of the shrimp paste - delicious! Himself had the free range chicken curry, rice and some calamari. Amazingly good food, well presented and scrupulously clean too.

Food freshly prepared, quick serving - if you need to wait any longer, you're asked in advance. And that's the advantage - waiting service is excellent source of information - they know EVERYTHING about the menu - lots of help and useful ideas for you to compose your meal. Also, the communicate via radio - there's no waitress coming to your table every single minute to answer each of your questions. Facilities - looks exactly as you'd expect when visiting the country: sinks made of rough steel, taps jut out of the wall, toilet flush high up etc. nice music all over :) but it's just a design, the quality is of highest standard. Amazing place to go out with friends, strongly recommend!

Amazing service! Everybody goes on about the food and it was really good but not exceptionally great if I am totally honest.
I loved the seafood balls - it was really good. It's like a seafood kiev but very tasty.

The ambience was great (much better even compared to some of the other places on that street) and personally, my preference would be sitting on the first floor unless I am sitting at the bar on second floor.

Lastly it wasn't that expensive either. Meal for 2 was like £30 without drinks.

visited this place with my family during my vacation in London. amazing food, very quick service, polite staff. generally, you don't get a table at this place just like that so its better if you book one in advance.
The food is so amazing that I had visited the place about 4-5months back and I still have the taste in my mouth. in short, I start drooling as I think about it.

We decided to duck in here while roaming the streets as we were very hungry. Couldnt try the pho as it was not halal so the owner suggested all the seafood options. We ordered a pomela salad, noodles and a gravy with some very delicious drinks. The place is very cozy and we sat in the window watching it rain and the world go by. The Vietnamese coffee was great too. The food came very promptly

The pho was very flavourful, you can taste the herb base very well. The broth had the nice tongue feel if a long simmered bone soup. Definately an amazing pho. The 3 pork bun was fresh and the combination of the homemade meatballs and the grilled pork belly added to the fresh vegetables made for a very pleasant meal. The crispy spring rolls were done very well crispy without being oily amd lots of great flavours inside.

The environment was rustic and cozy :) The staff were nice and fast serving us.

The food was delicious, all of the plates we ordered: pho with chicken, pho with beef not spicy, pho with beef spicy and chicken breast with lemongrass!

The soups were really tasty, and with great ingredients on it (the chicken better than the beef).

Was a great experience, thanks a lot for that.

Take a break from the crowds of Chinatown and get into Vietfood. Great value Vietnamese cuisine in an antique-styled setting. The owner formerly worked as the Chef de Cuisine at Hakkasan and earned a Michelin star. The experience here at Vietfood is much more laid back. No booking required, find a table downstairs or up before the staff will whisk over a menu to you.  I went for the lunch special Com Hộp (£7.90) with the lemongrass chicken option. All the specials get served with a salad of salad, and rice. Both were worthwhile mentions, the rice has a nice soy seasoning (with garnish) and the salad has a tasty dressing. The piece of chicken isn’t huge, but together it’s enough for a lunch. The seasonings were very Vietnamese and tasted authentic. And with just a touch of char which brings out the smokiness of the sweet lemongrass marinade on the chicken. More then satisfactory.

Food is always best when being shared. Another perk is that you get to sample multiple dishes and allow your taste buds to go take on a ride. Spanish tapas and Chinese dim sums are the perfect example. Apart from that, we’ve now got Indian food pioneering this ‘small dish’ concept in London with the likes of Talli Joe and Hankies Cafe. And now there’s one for Vietnamese food too by this restaurant called Viet Food.

I'm quite a fan of Vietnamese food in general. We stopped by for a quick dinner before a show. The place was busy but luckily there was a table for us. We ordered Vietnamese summer roles and pho. It all arrived quickly. Overall, the food was good! They have a 10 Pound minimum spend per person which was a bit odd. I'm not sure if this is normal in London?

One of my favourite food genres is Asian street food. Heady aromas, fantastic flavours and reasonable prices combine in that exotic warm weather to create a memorable dining experience. Trying to bring that into a restaurant with inflated prices can be a tricky proposition and the recent closing of House of Ho in Soho is a stark reminder that even the addition of a celebrity chef to this kind of venture is no guarantee of success.

Fantastic vietnamese food in heart of London Chinatown. The decor is very cool like walking into Vietnam. Its very very busy so we were seated with other people. We ordered the regular Pho and spicy Pho. It was really great especially when youve been walking around in the cold winter. It tasted very clean and organic. For all the Vietnamese food lovers this place is a must!

Great food. Good prices. Absolutely recommended! Maybe you need to wait a few minutes but it's worth the wait. Some seats and tables are a bit tight to sit.

There was a long queue outside but it moved relatively fast. It was busy inside but the service was quite friendly. We absolutely enjoyed the food and there are lots of options on the menu. We didn’t get pho this time but tried some Vietnamese tapas style dish, which were really good. I would recommend the grilled lemongrass chicken. It was tender and juicy! The only “complaint” I would have is that the ice coffee came on in a small glass full of ice. Would appreciate if it’s a bit more coffee! The flavour of the coffee is good tho!

Good little restaurant for a quick bite before heading to a London show. The food comes out quick , the service is efficient, and it feels pretty authentic. The service could be a little bit warmer , but it's London, and it's busy. It didn't feel like a tourist trap restaurant, so i recommend it.

Everything we ordered was so good. From pho and other small dishes, everything was cooked as you ordered. The service is efficient and friendly. The price is reasonable!

Great place with 3 floors (ask to sit upstairs, it's much nicer), delicious fresh food (recommend the crispy spring rolls and chicken pho, as well as the scallops. Their cocktails are great as well and quite boozy. Service isn't friendly, but that's usual in Asian places.

This restaurant delivers delicious Vietnamese food full of flavours and character for many years. The consistency has been tested by me and family and we are always happy to come back. I recommend to book in advance

Amazing restaurant in China Town, London 🇬🇧 The waiters are nice, the menu has a lot of different varieties, the food tasted more than amazing and the portions were also big. It can have a little queue sometimes but definitely worth the wait.

Decent Vietnamese food in Chinatown London. Went for a quick solo dinner, was seated quickly and food came out fast. For me the beef Pho broth was not as flavorful as I’m used to (both in Vietnam and in the US) and the chicken wings weren’t as crispy as I would have hoped, but still a pretty good.

Loved it here. Came across it by chance and after looking at the menu decided to try something new. Had four dishes to share and that was enough. Food was tasty. Got very busy as we were there which is a good sign.
