Super cosy, cute Japanese place. The staff were really helpful and kind, always smiling. The food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was so friendly. He recommended dishes and told us that the name of the place means “angel” in Japanese. Such a lovely experience!
Lots of interesting dishes, Japanese and of good quality, stand out was the salmon teriyaki and agedoshi tofu. Lots of small plates to try and experiment with, a very different take on tempura!

Doesn’t get more authentic than this as a Japanese eatery in London. Forget mainstream Japanese, this is a place where to have a great Japanese pub meal. Food choice is varied and homely, so many vegetarian options and a great wine list with sake, plum and yuzu wine. This is truly a gram of a place in Islington.
