Derosier Chocolate And Coffee

Gorgeous treats, truly amazing - the owner is the most lovely man I have ever met, I used to go to their old branch before it closed. Since it closed I’ve been coming to the one on Garratt Lane and I’ve never ever been disappointed by the quality. I was shocked when we were asked what kind of chocolate we wanted for our sons frappe, he was very pleased (he got white, not what I would’ve gone before because of the fear of it being sickly, but he LOVED it, always asking to go back and get a different kind of chocolate in it.) The seating in the store is brilliant, it’s cozy and relaxing - I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m sure it’d be a peaceful place to have a coffee and get some emails sorted on your laptop (I’ve seen others do it). I love the price of the flat white (very competitive, it’s my go-to and it’s usually much more expensive at other places.) My only negative experience was that once we went and there were no pastries or anything sweet to eat. (I was quite late in the day and no doubt it had been taken before so that’s on me) Haven’t been in a few weeks because I’ve been busy but I recommend it to everyone xx

Kept us going through lockdowns and working from home. A great chocolate shop indeed, but an incredibly underrated coffee shop. Consistent, great quality coffee from Andrew and Claus. Sociable, service with a smile and took the time to get to know us which added to the neighbourhood feel. Sad that we have now left the area, but will miss de rosier and wish them all the best for the future.

Delicious option for a chocolatey respite. The cafe offers a relaxed environment, the chocolates are sumptuous, and the hot chocolates are creamy and delicious! I was especially impressed with how the team went above and beyond the call of duty for a gift I ordered. Great packaging and a very speedy delivery. Definitely a place worth supporting.
