Vibey small restaurant in the heart of Mayfair - with a price tag but what I would say is a hidden gem. Not everyone has heard about this place and its on a quiet road so if you want something 'off the menu', this is it. If you want a place with a good lively atmosphere with very good food and more of a bar/restaurant feel, this is your place. I have been hitting this spot for a number of years now and its a great place for a Friday/Saturday night out before you wonder of into one of the clubs. I recommend booking a table in advance if there are more than 3 of you. And ofcourse you are just of Dover street and Ceconnis so expect to get your wallet out. When I remember going for a meal (I usually just go for a drink or 2 at the bar - which is small but worth it), it set me and a friend back about 150 GBP and drinks are around 20 quid per cocktail. But again if you are even considering a place like this, you are happy to spend. Also the owner has just opened up a quieter restaurant in Notting Hill as a sister to this. So if you really like the food and want something more traditional sit down, you can go there - Peyotito Notting Hilll

I can’t say I was overly impressed by Peyote. There were 11 of us dining so we had a private dining room which was awesome! The portion sizes are super tiny so in turn we wound up getting really drunk off the amazing margaritas. If you’re wanting a meal, this isn’t your place. It’s best to know that you’re coming for tapas and drinks!

Exquisite Mexican Food, Incredibly Friendly Staff, Superb Music, Beautiful People and London's most extensive Tequila selection, all combine to guarantee you a fantastic evening. I'm coming back to enjoy the Ceviches and Tostadas when they open again for lunch on Monday.😋😋

Arrived thinking I hated tequila, left absolutely loving it! Great cocktails, really nice atmosphere, my friend was visiting from NYC and said she'd definitely recommend to her friends back home. Drinks are reasonably priced.

I've been here twice and both experiences were amazing. The service: I can't say enough about how great the service is. The hostesses are always friendly and willing to help out. My parents and I were seated next to a very loud table and the hostess quickly found us another table within minutes with no fuss. The chefs are great, I have an allergy and they are quick to modify the dishes for me. I got the same waiter both times and he is very knowledgable about the menu and suggested alternative dishes for the ones where the ingredient couldn't be removed and I was very happy with them! The bartenders are extremely friendly, special shout out to Andre who took good care of me and my friends the first time and equally my parents the second time. The food: SO FREAKING GOOD. every single item I have ordered on the menu so far has been nothing short of godliness in flavor. Even though I was full after the starters I still ate every last bite because I knew I would regret not eating it the next day. I strongly recommend the seafood risotto. Overall great experience, you will not regret coming here.

Great, tasty food and friendly staff. Peyote is a discrete restaurant in the heart Central London. The ribeye, fried calamari with the chilli aoli, the potatoes, the cocktails - everything is good. Relatively young crowd on a Friday night, with chilled house music playing in the background. If you're a fan of Mexican fusion, you'll like it.

What a fantastic place! Great food option to share with the entire table and delicious wine as well. There's a DJ playing during the evening, but the music isn't intrusive at all and you can enjoy each others company.

Went here for an early dinner 7.30 pm and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was a very happy relaxed vibe with different types of clientele. The decor is really cool and they have a DJ playing great music, but not too loud or intrusive. Now for the food! Loved it! The Sea Bream was delicious and the Lobster seafood rice. The staff seem to enjoy their job too. Will be back
