Chicken Shop

The chicken is amazing! The food was served in good time - all tasty and cooked well. The staff were busy, efficient and obviously trying their best under current circumstances. All staff are in masks and cleaning surfaces. They also have outside front seating if the weather is nice. I'd advise to book, as it can be busy. I went on a rainy weekday - didn't book but could get a table for 2 if we waited 20 minutes. Staff were great to accommodate us. They have online ordering that seems busy too. A lovely dinner and drinks out.

I went for lunch here with my boyfriend last week and it was sunny so we sat outside. The waitress was so lovely, friendly and enthusiastic. I'm sorry that I don't know her name but she is a credit to the restaurant as I think that cheerful staff make all the difference. We both had the lunch offer, 'dirty burger for £10' which is fantastic value! The burger and chips were really nicely made, delicious but not greasy or heavy as some burgers are. I think Chicken Shop is great and if you love burgers then give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

We went for lunch on the weekend, given covid times it wasn’t so packed, we got to sit outside. The waiter was really nice and they took care to clean the tables and everything well to keep customers safe. We ordered the dirty bird with sweet potato fries. It was good, cooked well, though I had really high expectations previously because people said that’s the best. Nevertheless it was a good tasting burger! Would come back here again

Very good place to have some burgers or a roasted chicken. The ambiance is cool and the staff very sympathetic. The patty is very tasty, the bacon is delicious and I liked the fries and their side garlic mayo (alioli style). I missed a little more cheese in my Dirty Burguer as the regular portion is not very abundant. They have a set lunch menu quite interesting for 10£ including burguer, fries and soda from Mon-Fri 12h to 16h.
