We went here for late breakfast on Saturday as we were in the area. They served your typical English food. They had good verity and the decor reminded me of the ideal English pub.
What was most commendable was the service
We stopped in this pub for a little break amongst shopping, we were both peckish and it was lunchtime.
I had the Oxford arms full English which was better than average, in fact it was much better than a normal pub fry up. It was washed down with a latte that was gone in about two sips as it was exactly the right temperature and very nice indeed.
My coupleship partner had the chicken Caesar salad which was a nice large portion, (not big enough for any left for me though) the dressing was ok but there was enough of it so there were no dry leaves left at the bottom which is always a bonus.
The lady who served us was very friendly and the food arrived promptly.
It was better than expected and the menu had a surprisingly good variety.
I'd recommend it on a walk about in Camden for a little stop off.
There was also a good selection of beers although it was a bit early to try them!
Camden offers you the Oxford Arms (autocorrect offered me "Army", maybe not too far from the truth). A great pub with a healthy helping on lunatics (self included!) A great pint in the middle of the day along with loads of people having fun. Service great. Doom Bar and pride for the cask drinkers. A great pub.
Brilliant Pub in the Heart of Camden, Friendly Warm Helpful Bar Staff & Brilliant Atmosphere.
Excellent Irish Coffee's Sold here.
We really enjoyed our time in the Oxford Arms, the chilled atmosphere during the day making it the perfect place for a few drinks or to catch whatever live sport is on. All of the staff were friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. We really enjoyed our conversations with Niall, who added a personal touch to our visit while keeping everything ticking over behind the bar.
The highlight was undoubtedly the hidden gem of a beer garden, perfect for unwinding in the heart of the city. Five stars all the way! I can't wait to return and enjoy the great ambiance again.
Cozy & Nice pub. Came here to watch football; called earlier to ask if they will show the match, the staff was kind enough to pick up the call immediately.
Great atmsophere and the location is right next to the Camden market.
Great beer, lots of variety 🍻🍻
Ordered onion rings and also baked wedges, unfortunately was a bit too oily though. But will come here another time.
One of my favorite pubs in Camden. Its a short walk from the underground and the market. They always have Champions League and other games on and they were accommodating to my specific TV request. Have not tried the food but it looks good on its way out of the kitchen. Ill be back.
Highly recommend the Oxford Arms for a quick drink & some food - it’s cosy, has a welcoming team (particular shout out to Niall who went above & beyond for us) and a menu that leaves you satisfied. Cheers to a fantastic time at this Camden gem! 🍻🍽️
Always a solid option whenever I'm in Camden.
The buttermilk chicken burger was yum and I had a great laugh with Big Niall 😎 Ended up having a few Camden Pale Ales more than I had intended thanks to him!! Always a good complaint! 😅
Will defo be back in the coming months.
Keep up the good work lads
Lovely Irish pub in a great location. The barman Niall gave us great advice on what to see and do in the area. Will definitely recommend friends to stop in when in the area.
Stopped for a drink in this pub, great location.
We sat in the beer garden very busy but plenty of seating. Quick service at the bar only downside the glasses were plastic. But due to the location, I can understand the reasons.
Super night out here earlier this month with a large group; highly recommend. Staff hugely hospitable.
