We had a disappointing time at this restaurant. When we arrived the staff were very lovely and accommodating for us. However we had several issues with the food. We didn’t enjoy the curries or entrees, the entrees in particular were dead cold. The raita that we ordered was chunky and sour.
Love this restaurant I’ve been going there for 18 years! Prawn purée yum a lamb vindaloo is to die for! Not greasy and the meat is good quality. Moving away soon and will miss this diamond place and they have looked after me so much. Xxxx
I recently visited this Bengali restaurant and was genuinely impressed by the flavors, warmth, and overall experience. Every dish tasted truly authentic—rich, aromatic, and prepared with the kind of care that reminds you of home-cooked Bengali meals. The staff were also friendly and attentive!! Definitely recommend!
Loved it!! Great variety of dishes- I found it hard to decide what I wanted, and the staff were really friendly. With so many south Asian food options out there, it's hard to find a good place, and I will DEFINITELY be returning!!
Took a very long time for anyone to come over and give us menus. Food was bland, cobra beer was £9 a bottle. Apart from that took ages to get the bill or any kind of service. Won’t be going back I’m afraid
