First time dining for the afternoon tea in the Drawing Room which definitely won't be the last!
Service was super attentive, atmosphere was intimate & warm, and the sandwiches and scones were 10 out of 10! Couldn't finish the cakes even though they looked super delicious.
Also big thanks for the staff for doing something really sweet for my birthday! Will recommend for anyone who is looking for a special afternoon tea experience in London.
The sandwiches were delicious but the sweets didn’t impress us. The service was attentive to begin with but started to lacking as the time went on. Our trays were empty for quite long time before someone came by to check on us. The servers were polite, but no one had any smiles on their faces. The tea set and silverware were nice but our table was wobbly. The environment is warm and classic setting and the live piano is a nice touch.
This is our second time at the drawing room and it did not disappoint! By far the best experience from the service, to the food, drinks and ambience. I would like to personally thank Akshay and Maria, and the others of course, for the service. It was greatly appreciated and overall outstanding. We 10/10 recommend the drawing room for an afternoon tea.
Booked for two person and arrived on time.
Very good atmosphere with the live piano music just next to our table.
Service was excellent and we stayed longer than expected.
Had afternoon tea in the drawing room! From start to finish everything was amazing. The staff was attentive, informational, and super friendly. We had the festive menu and started off with a glass of champagne and a taste of mulled wine. Our sandwiches were tasty (even had 2 rounds). Best Biscuits I’ve had. Overall it was a great experience and worth the value!
Afternoon tea is a must do experience when you are in London. The sandwich’s, scones and sweets were to die for. Oh and the tea 🫖 was great as well 😀.
What Elegance! The service and food were top notch! The Brown Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in London, but honestly it’s in perfect condition. They were very accommodating, even when I was late to my own appointment and the rest of my group made it on time. They were so sweet to wait on me. I had a lovely experience. If I ever go back to London this is the first reservation I am booking. The High Tea at the Brown Hotel is unlike any other, and it’s a must do while in London. One of our servers was from Hungry and she had a wonderful voice even if she was only singing Happy Birthday. Then our other server was from
Italy. It was so nice to see all the different cultures and stories they had to share with us.
Wow! What an incredible experience. We had such an amazing time here. The food was incredible, the service was amazing. Lost for words, I would highly recommend the Afternoon Tea at Brown’s. An experience we will never forget
Definitely the best afternoon tea experience I have had around the world. The other one is just as impressive is Tokyo Mandarin Oriental afternoon tea. Savoy London is good too. Butterfly Room in Hong Kong has great food quality too but services are poor. Just the food quality, ambient and services are all top notch. Sure the price is above average in London and it’s totally worth it. For those who said it’s overpriced just shut up and go somewhere cheaper and get a downgraded version of everything. Period.
Exceptional food and service! The sandwiches were sheer perfection, and the sweets were what dreams are made of. The scones weren't anything to write home about, but the overall experience was certainly 5 stars.
I wish I could remember our server's name; he was very attentive and kind. I highly recommend a stop at the Drawing Room for afternoon tea. Reservations recommended.
