Best drinks, best bar tenders, best ciders. Best beer garden! This is a hidden gem but well worth the hunt. And Cecil is my absolute favourite!

Went with friends, who are regulars, loved it! The rose wine was the best I have had for a long time. The bar staff really nice, great atmosphere. Will visit again before going back home to Yorkshire.

Great traditional pub tucked away in a quiet street very close to Hackney Central Overground. A good choice of ales and two German beers on tap. Also a very nice beer garden. Pizza is available at this location. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub. Nice interior and cool soundtrack. Excellent prices at £5 for a lager and £4.20 for the Rift pale ale. Great pizzas from Yardsale pizza too.

An oasis of refreshment, calm and shade during a warm Sunday walk. The beer’s well kept (Orkney Best, Swannay) and the piano playing is a joy! #3 #34

Unusual community pub, once a railway station. Can be very busy, chilled & laid back atmosphere, great service.

First visit to this pub and it won't be my last. A real gem tucked away down the side streets of Hackney. Lovely pub with a good beer garden and friendly staff. Atmosphere was very chilled and, most importantly, had a couple of excellent real ales on.

Nestled within the vibrant streets of Hackney, the Chesham Arms stands out as a gem among pubs, offering an extraordinary experience heightened by its remarkable garden during the summer season. Stepping into this charming establishment, I was immediately captivated by the serene and inviting atmosphere that enveloped me. The garden at Chesham Arms is nothing short of spectacular, especially in the summertime. The garden exudes a tranquil ambiance, making it an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's the perfect place to soak up the sun, enjoy a refreshing drink, and relish in the company of friends or a good book. One of the standout features of the Chesham Arms' garden is its thoughtful design. The seating areas are strategically placed to provide both shaded and sunny spots, catering to every visitor's preference. Whether you desire a cozy nook under the shade of a leafy tree or a sun-drenched spot to bask in the warmth, the garden offers a range of choices to suit your mood. The pub's attentive staff further enhance the experience. They exude warmth and friendliness, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and taken care of. Whether you're a regular or a first-time guest, the staff's knowledge of their extensive drink menu and their willingness to recommend their favorites make the entire experience even more enjoyable. In terms of libations, the Chesham Arms boasts an impressive selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. From a refreshing craft beer to a carefully crafted cocktail or a freshly squeezed juice, there's something for everyone. The bar staff's expertise and passion for mixology shine through in their well-crafted creations, leaving no room for disappointment. Overall, the Chesham Arms in Hackney is a haven for those seeking a delightful summer experience. Its stunning garden offers a picturesque backdrop to unwind and enjoy the company of friends, while the friendly staff and exceptional drink selection ensure a memorable visit. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the area, this pub should be on your must-visit list when seeking respite from the city's buzz and an unforgettable summer getaway.

Possibly my 'new' favourite in this part of London. An oasis of calm, a lovely garden, tasteful interior. There is always three well kept ales (a good choice of cider and lager as well). A smartly run, tasteful pub. Hurrah they don't reserve tables on the busiest days. Met the landlord, top bloke, knows his onions.

Gentrified local with prices to match. The beer selection is interesting and impressive. Bit trendy for my tastes but by no means unpleasant atmosphere.

Lovely pub, could have had the wood burner going on this cold day, but maybe next time! They do however have yard sale pizza delivered, which is a real winner. Really nice atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday drink!

Great little pub, and they have a deal with a nearby pizza company so that you can order. The pizza was delicious, as were the drinks. I highly recommend the blood orange cider.
