I swear to you, if you have been in London and not had the hot chocolate at Paul Patisserie, you didn't come here at all. It's a shame the outlets shut down in Shanghai and now it costs me a plane ticket to come back for this, but I do 🤷🏽♀️ 10/10 legit
This is a great place for a quick breakfast or lunch with an amazing selection of pastries and cakes but also serves salads and sandwiches. It seems to be a great place for on the go eating, that's slightly less industrial than pret but still has the casual cafe vibe.
I popped in here for a late lunch and was slightly disappointed that due to my timing the sandwiches were seriously depleted and there weren't many options left. Instead I went for a Niçoise salad which was brought to my table in a box but on a plate to decant my salad onto. I liked this as it meant I could feel like I was properly dining in but if I was in a hurry could still take the box with me to finish the salad later. The cafe was very busy so is obviously a popular place.
A classic french bakery with a few tables outside to relax and have a nice cafe and croissant in the sun. Chocolate lovers will really enjoy having a special plate selection of chocolates. Paul is not a particularly special place but you are ensured of the quality and taste of your food. If you are french person with a bit of nostalgia for the homeland or just if you just appreciate nice french food, Paul is a secure place to go.

Went in for take away in the morning. There was a queue as there was only one staff in the shop, but she was as efficient as she can be and was very friendly. Maybe not always a good place to grab a coffee in a hurry, but it's a nice bakery cafe with lots of love pastries and beautiful cakes. Bread was looking nice, too. I should try that next time.

Paul’s team in upper street (angel) is the best, they greet me every morning and remenber my other. The food is always amazing and is always such a pleasure to visit this caffe.
