If you are Romanian or you want to experience Romanian food this is a great place where you can start! The staff is lovely, they will treat you like a special friend, the food is great the prices are decent, you can enjoy some funny parties as well sometimes with a dj and singers dressed in authentic traditional Romanian clothes! You will be surprised to be invited to dance while you are eating, by other Romanian clients or be invited to join their party or table as all good Romanians do as a sign of ospitality and generosity!!the only issue about the place that is not big enough for a big party or celebration but it's nice and comfy 👌!
Been there few years ago and had a lovely authentic Romanian food experience, almost feeling like in my hometown . Reasonable prices and service and good food . Definitely recommend trying !

This is just a quick review,as I only been there to get some take away after closing time.
Firstly,despite going past 22:00,their closing time,I was welcomed by the nice chap that does the waitering and he was quick to welcome me and find out if he can help me.
Secondly ,me coming from work,as builder,with dirty shoes and clothes,he ignored that and been very nice,trying hard to speak Romanian, despite being Portuguese himself.
Third,the cook's attitude: fantastic, homely lady,smiling and working hard is the kitchen(you can see inside the kitchen from the bar).
Fourth:the food: 😋
I had take away the traditional Sarmale with Mamaliga,and it did made me feel like back home,in Romania.
I will recommend to anyone that can't travel to Romania for the experience,to try their food.
Will go again very soon . 😊

A very pleasant experience with great people and good food, the main was excellent!
Absolutely stunning place. Authentic, delicious food. Rustic ambiance. The soups are delicious, the main was so tender and tasty, and the papanași for desert had the most amazing home-made jam. Service was excellent and Marlena is amazing! Will definitely come back 😃
