I loved this place tonight. The best warm welcome when we walked in, delish, freshly cooked and well presented food, love staff and to top it all the Chilean Folk Ensemble. I took my mum and my friend and we have a fantastic evening. Will definitely go back.
Tatreez is a really unique and special place in the World. Palestinian pure roots in a radically contemporany soul. Genuine fresh mediterranean food in a jazzy and artistic atmosphere... I loved the palestinian fresh food they have here..Try the palestinian Za'atar with bread and olive oil...it is just unforgetable! Loved it!
Liked it very much, as did Harvey, my beautiful rescue dog. First fault: no menu in the window (the PALESTINIAN VEGETARIAN food is excellent). Fault two: doesn't say the restaurant is DOG FRIENDLY (ie dyke Heaven: food + dog - not necessarily in that order). Place not busy when I dined and blame this on poor menu advertising. And let's start with the front window bang on Stoke Newington High Street! Nothing! Went in by accident to ask about prices and comestibles, expecting me and Harvey to be swiftly ejected. Nothing of the sort. We dined, drank excellent wine of Palestine provenance in isolated splendour. So much going for this place but too posh to push itself forward. Lovely staff and owner. It deserves to thrive. By Stoke Newington standards, worthy of 5 stars. But hey, we've all put off being perfect.
The food is fresh and beautifully prepared. I've worked my way through the entiremenu. It's my favourite vegetarian restaurant in East London. Service with a smile and when there's live music there's nowhere better to eat.
Some of the most interesting food in London, didn't even notice it was a vegetarian place until about the 3rd time I visited as the menu is so uncompromising, inventive and delicious (a rare thing for vegie cuisine). One of my favourite spots in Stokey worth a visit at any distance traveled. The service is amazing is very friendly and knowledgeable, when I first went there our waiter was also the chef and barman so everything was a little slow, but they have hired a few more people recently as they have obviously been doing a little better and everything has picked up a little bit in terms of service times, so if you have ever been before and thought everything was a little slow definitely worth a second chance. Come for the unbelievable cauliflower dish, and stay late for arak, turkish coffee and some of the best baklava i have ever had.
Got to be in my top five vegetarian restaurants. The food is fresh and tasty - full of spices, oil and lemon juice. The flat bread is made to order and totally divine! Don't miss the fool of mashed fava beans and chickpeas.
One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in the neighbourhood. The food is really unique and super delicious! The place has very good vibe and very kind service, sometimes they have very nice live music events.
I was there yesterday because a friend took me there. I was surprised, waitress was very nice, food was delicious! and they also had live music! All people there seemed very happy. Definitely I'll go there many times!

Recommend sitting at the large table at the rear as it has a great atmosphere.
Lovely fresh ingredients amazing wood-fired bread and amazing olive oil. Cosy interior and warm service. Highly recommend!
