Great tmfir taking the kids

Reasonably priced food, both ethical and reasonably priced? In central London? Usually quiet and child friendly?
My go to in Covent Garden. Well recommended
NB you don’t need to pay for the mission to go into it. Just go through the shops and go upstairs.

Called in for a little something to eat pre theatre. Chose sausage butty and tea....£7.50 and that's exactly what I got. Pretty basic, not a complaint, as it's a sausage butty at the end of the day! 2 sausages in a buttered bap and a pot of tea. Service was good.

Such a good place to visit. Well laid out and full of interesting things to see.

Overall not a bad experience, food was good but nothing special.
The service was great and the food was brought to our table in a timely fashion.
It is a nicely themed restaurant, picking up the London transport theme with pictures and signs of the London Underground.
It only really lost one star due to the fact that the food was served on metal trays, no plates, just a tray, I would question the hygiene of serving food in this manner.
Food was very tasty and the portion size was ample. I would also mention that it was quite drafty with the main entrance being open at all times. If you want to get a quick bite to eat and not spend a fortune unlike the other cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area this is a great alternative.

Nice place, lovely staff

Seems really short of staff during peak hours. Microwave is out of order.

The prices here are reasonable compared to the surrounding eateries! I would have liked to try the homemade lemonade or iced tea but they were out. The orange juice was fresh and lovely though and my mushroom soup tasty though I had to wait a while and it came with weird bread. My partner's cream tea was nice too. Service was friendly. I loved the train carriage seats!
