Full kitchen (great food) and bar (great beer selection on tap); 4 theaters with very comfortable seating and screen size/view ratio. Definitely returning

Loved it! I only went to Screen 1 but it was huge and spacious with amazing views from all seats. The seats are comfy and recline slightly. As with all Picturehouse cinemas, they have a great selection of snacks and drinks, tickets are reasonable and the programming is way better than other mainstream cinema chains :)

Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with great food and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. A must for cinema lovers as it's intimate and has a great cross section of films. Worth buying a membership for all of the great savings.

Reliably good place to see films. In general, the cinemas with the best video quality and audio quality seem to show the worst films and places with great films offer low quality. This cinema strikes a great balance and has a nice selection of films with good a good quality viewing experience. I also like that I’ve seen that hey have hosted other music related events at times.

We took our Granddaughter here recently for a matinee viewing. Lovely little picture house with friendly and helpful staff.

I still love coming to see films in here… but the venue isn’t what it used to be. The bar area feels very cold and you feel a bit left out as a customer.

I visited Hackney Picturehouse first time post lockdown. There is hand sanitiser as you walk in and the staff are all wearing masks. A one way system is in place and I didn’t bump into anyone else on my way to the screen. The cinema was extremely quiet (Saturday morning screening on Tenet). I felt extremely comfortable and had no concerns regarding health & safety whatsoever. Can’t wait to visit again!

Overall 3.8 stars. Seats in screen 1 are very comfy and recline a bit. Tickets way too expensive @ £15 70 for a 3D film. Fortunately, the lady who served us didn't charge for the glasses. Big up to her!
