Chilango

This place is different in that it rather than doing slow cooked pulled meat, it tends to do grilled instead. Most Mexican places seem to do Shoulder joints, however Chilango uses Pork Belly. This means its a bit more chewy and tough, however packs more flavour in my opinion. The hot sauce they have on the tables is awesome, make sure you try it!

Fantastic Mexican food. The one place where, spicy is in reality truly spicy. The ambience, the staff... And the food, everything screams viva la mexico. Can't wait to go back for more!

Speedy serving, food is good, not too expensive either. The music was too loud when I was there, bit uncomfortable to order like that, also not a good place to eat in with a group unless you all like shouting. Had the Brazilian burrito, it was really nice.

Best burritos in London!! You come for the food but you stay for the vibe - all the staff are amazing and fun and friendly but Rapha is the Leather Lane Mexican King!! Always a warm welcome and super happy, 5 star service - he will run the company one day I’m sure!! 5 stars 👍

I love burritos, but never before have I enjoyed one so much as when it was created for me by the young Gentleman I met last Friday on leather lane. It was a strange day, one minute raining the next warm and sunny. But after eating this burrito I knew that all the consistency i would ever need in my life would no longed be provided by the climate, but by the soft and dexterous, wonderfully skilled hands of this handsome young man. So handsome was he in fact that me and my friends were frozen in awe. We were about to walk into Coco Di Mama's next door, when I glanced into the window, catching a fleeting glance of whom I can only compare to the Zorro of Tortillas. Beneath a dashing Sombrero hat and a false mustache he stood as rigid and crisp as the super nachos boxes he solemnly packaged, and my heart melted into the same consistency as the fresh and creamy guacamole that he had prepared for me that morning. The smile and charm he greeted me with as I approached the press was second only to the wits and skill he displayed during the assembly of my burrito, during which he eyes never left mine. Quite how he managed to deduce not only what fillings I wanted, but also that I was taking away with a bottle of sparkling water though i had not uttered a word I doubt i shall ever know. One thing I do know however is his name. As I wrenched myself away from the lock of his firm yet kind eyes I managed to call out one sentence 'What do they call you?' I asked imploringly, praying he would bless me with a response. 'He smiled ever so slightly, the corners of his lips turning up in what, had i not felt the warmth emanating from his soul. could have been construed as a smirk, yet which I felt as more of a sign of encouragement. He whispered two words, yet I had no trouble hearing them through the bustling restaurant. 'Mr. Chillango.'

Great food and super nice staff. Got guac on my burrito before knowing it was extra and they just told me it was but waved the price at first. Burrito super tasty, freshness rivaling chipotle
