Been here a few times. Fresh fish dishes. Great selection of beers. Can get busy so good idea to book.

Had a fantastic night here with friends...the staff are brilliant, very helpful and made us feel so welcome. Great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The vibe downstairs was so much fun with the Dj - had us dancing all night long. The aquariums are a great feature too. Will definitely be back!

Really nice little bar. Went for happy hour with friends. Bar staff super friendly and the music was a real mixture of rnb classics and 80s smooth grooves, but not on too loud so you can definitely still have a conversation. I would say to reserve a table if there's a lot if you.

NYE was absolutely 10/10. When staff go above and beyond their call of duty this deserves a special mention. First off the door staff was welcoming, gave us a wristband and saw us to our table. Security were also very polite and respectful. Bar staff wore a smile the whole night and you could tell they actually wanted to be there. Very quick on service and drinks were flowing all night. The manager was so helpful when I asked if we could move to a table with a backrest that he literally couldn’t do more to accommodate us. We were actually so pleased by this, especially as I can appreciate that as a manager he’s got 100 other things to be doing; but instead he prioritised our comfort. DJ was superb, loads of old school R&B and really worked for the crowd. One feedback for management though; they’ve advertised this night as “80s music” which put off a lot of my friends who didn’t end up coming - but in fact it wasn’t 80s at all and they would’ve loved it which is a shame. Maybe they can fix the advert for next year. But honestly every single member of staff went the extra mile to make our night one to remember I’ll definitely be returning to Simmons. Well done.

Had a fantastic night here. Manager was attentive and couldn't do enough for our group. The bar staff were polite and were always on the ball with drinks. Door staff were polite and helpful. Upstairs is spacious but downstairs is a but poky. Good for seating and would be fab for a private party/event. This venue is a far cry from your Liverpool St branch which is a disgrace. Will defo be back to Clerkenwell again. Thank you so much.

What a fantastic gem in my favourite London borough. Was looking for a bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday and this place appeared a couple of times in my online search. We were warmly welcomed by all the front staff upon arrival, it was a nightmare with the tube closure so a few of my party ran really late, but they were super relaxed and said we could wait for everyone to arrive before ordering food. The bloody Mary were excellent! The food was delicious. The drinks were flowing, no need to ask them to top up. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere and super friendly staff. I honestly could not recommend this place enough.

Great bar for those who like to shake a leg! DJ played my favourite tunes, 90s & 80s music on Friday. The happy hour lasts until 9pm, which is longer than in the other bars in the area 😁 I had reserved a booth and my friends had loads of fun. The only thing that I would say to be mindful of is that the music gets louder later in the evening, so it is not a pub where you would go to have a chat as you probably won't hear each other, or loose your voice like I did 😉 I would definitely recommend this bar!

Amazing place. Some of the nicest bouncers I've met in London. So friendly, they had such a laugh with everyone in the bar. Makes you feel very welcome. Cheap are pretty cheap and the music is good too

Dropped in later on a Thursday night and even though it was very busy the staff accommodated us very well and we enjoyed a drink at the bar until a table was available. The food is very good, three meat terrine starter was excellent with a good mix of game birds. The cod loin main was cooked to perfection and the flavour fantastic, it was enough without a side dish Along with the jugged hair beer it was a great meal. Price was on the higher side but worth it for the quality

Really good Sunday pub food. Took a friend from the States here and he loved it. Good roast beef and roast venison, both with roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, Savoy cabbage, cauliflower cheese and gravy. Wild mushroom risotto special was also pretty good as were the black pudding croquettes to start. Not quite 5 stars (I am a tough crowd) but worth a visit for sure. Maybe go early though as by 5pm a lot of stuff was sold out.
