Edited : Went back to give a 2nd chance. Turns out that the comment about free meal was from the previous owner, but the new owner honored it. Much better service this week and pancakes were cooked all the way through. I'll be back.

Staff is very friendly, coffee comes hot at least! I haven’t tasted anything else but Nutella pancakes which tasted very nice and well presented, music volume is just right for the morning mood. It’s cosy and not gloomy!

Lovely well run local place. Very welcoming and staffed by great people. I loved my vegetarian breakfast but don't worry, meat is on the menu. They have WiFi and plenty of tables inside and out. No smoking thankfully. Bathrooms are upstairs but I didn't use them so can't comment. Well worth a visit. I'm returning for breakfast again tomorrow

This is a lovely cafe which is a bit more distinctive than the run of the mill formica table cases that can be found on every London high street.The owner has always been friendly and runs an organised kitchen very hands on.the atmosphere here is usually bustling and retains it regular customers.
The breakfast is pretty good.not massive portions but nicely presented and not too greasy.Coffee is good too.

I've been eating here for years and it is consistently great. The staff are very welcoming. Food is fresh and home made and DELICIOUS. Lots on offer and always a wide variety of specials. Ignore the haters. It's a gem of North Finchley.

Amazing! We went here for a late breakfast, it was lovely and good ingredient were used. Helen was an awesome host, we traded Salt Beef recipes. Lovely decor too, very homely. You'd be foolish not to visit, you won't regret it.

This is definitely one of the best carrot cakes I have ever tasted! The experience was topped off with a great service from the friendly and professional staff at Cafe Buzz. This made my Friday!
