Cagney's Restaurant

Nice restaurant to relax in the food and drink prices are responsible. Decent selection of wines to choose from, no draft beers bottles only. I call in quite often when I'm in London you don't need to book a table it's normally a quick service I often have one of the pasta dishes that are really tasty. Few tables outside undercover good placr to sit on a warm evening with a glass of wine. With the name Cagneys over the door you don't see many gangsters 😊

On the hottest day of the year so far we had booked a table for 3, the place is very clean so was the kitchen which I had a peek at.the waiting staff are friendly and happy, our steaks were done to perfection but the jacket potatoes were not sadly, the burger was dry,all other food was lovely,my daughter had a slice of cake with candles bought out to her which was a lovely gesture from the staff,the bill was rather confusing but all sorted out with the taste card.we would go back on a cooler day though as the excess heat during the day ruined our appetites for the ( on the whole) lovely evening meal.
