Pros - Small independent restaurant - reasonable price £5 -£7 - the size of the portion are huge - Food are deliciously amazing, well seasoned and spiced - wide range of variety dishes - outdoor seating( although this is one the main road) - good and fast service Cons - N/A Would recommend this if you're looking for Carribbean food! Or if you want to try something

I would give 5 stars but they didn't have any plantain! After 20 months away from England, I was so looking forward to this meal. It didn't disappoint. Curry goat and rice and peas. Cooked properly and absolutely delicious.

I’ve ordered from here several times and the food is always delicious and generous portions - enough to save for lunch the following day. The only thing you gotta remember is to order before like 7pm cos a lot of their best dishes (curry goat, jerk chicken, oxtail 🤤🤤🤤) have run out by that time! But like, fair enough I don’t begrudge them that.

Really delicious, authentic west Indian food. Always piping hot and fresh. Good food hygiene and friendly customer service. Honestly? Since I left hackney decades ago, when I was growing up and throughout my teens and 20's, I use to always eat at Peppers and Spice. This restaurant I found recently when I was visiting my mum. It's like a treat, every time I eat here because the food is so yummy. The nearest west Indian to me, where I live? I have to travel out of my area and into Shepherds Bush. Not the same quality of food. I definitely recommend Survivor. Their toilet is spotless and pretty. That's a bonus. Stay safe and keep up the high standards.

Great selection of dishes and generous portions. The ackee & saltfish was wonderfully seasoned with some delicious hard food. Didn't get a chance to say thank you as they were busy with a long line of customers - this is definitely one of the most popular and recommended in the area!

I've ordered from alot of Caribbean takeaways. And I must say I'm really impressed, firstly there the first takeaway I've seen that puts the use by date label on the homemade drinks and desert containers which is really reassuring. Stew chicken was very good as well.
