Very popular among Indian living in London. Best place for Indo Chinese cuisine. nice variety of drinks and beer on tap. restaurant has some great Indian food as well.
Although place is nice and very accessible location even with a public transport, however please note there is a lot of noise due to lot of families and the children running all over.
Overall a nice experience, would visit very soon.
This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and I must admit, one of the best places for indo Chinese cuisine. I have been there couple of times.
I would recommend the starters platter serving a variety of dishes. Ample parking space available and the restaurant Has good seating capacity.
Staff is very friendly and Knows the menu well. There is a bar as well serving variety of tap beers.
Food is not too spicy but they can spice it up as per your taste. Daal makhni is a must try and so is Achari aaloo baingan with garlic naan...
I wish they had a branch in central London !!!
I recently went back to Blue Ginger and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was great and the service was top-notch. The food and drinks were of good quality, and they had a nice selection of beers. However, they did not have Heineken available, only Heineken Zero. The portion sizes of the starters we ordered were very generous. Overall, it was a great visit. Thank you.
Great quality of service, quick enough on food delivery
Liked mojito- Passional Island, Rice, Dal, naan
But paneer butter masala has really disappointed this time as expected, spicy, and tasted sweet, which ruined all mood although could find some fried chilly to cover up taste.
We decided to try this restaurant after hearing about their 15% vegetarian week discount. On a Tuesday evening, the car park was already packed, and this was a promising sign of the food to come! They have a wide variety of vegetarian choices, and food was served promptly by very enthusiastic waiters and waitresses. My only issue is that despite the discount, the meal was expensive. We ordered sev papdi chaat, chilli paneer, honey glazed paneer (the best dish out of them all), crispy bhajia & naan. For dessert, the gajar halwa was delectable. The total came up to £60 for these few items (with a discount)!! For that reason alone, I think it would not be worth visiting again. A nice touch was that they have a separate no garlic/onion menu & a no-spice menu.
Blue Ginger offers a truly delightful dining experience. The honey and sesame paneer is a revelation, with a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness that will leave you craving more. The garlic naan is simply delicious, with just the right amount of garlic flavor and a soft, fluffy texture. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you won't leave the restaurant hungry. Additionally, the food arrived quickly, allowing for a seamless dining experience.
However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit challenging. The spaces are narrow and can be hard to find, which may require some patience and maneuvering.
Really upped their game in the past few years and even though they're always so busy, service and food was given at a high standard. We didn't have a reservation (that's a fault from our end), but we were able to have drinks from the bar and the staff took us to our table within 10-15 minutes.
Great tasting food with a lovely atmosphere which is suitable for all the family and or friends for any occasion or too just chill out
The Indian appetizers specially the mogo and the corn are good . The tofu and mogo are made with the same sauce. The passion juice is a definate try.
Been coming here for many many years and the food is always on point. Great Asian fusion options plus great Indian and Chinese options too. Nice atmosphere and family friendly restaurant. Staff are always helpful and polite and service is very good. They also have a big projector screen and TV screen around the restaurant showing the football. Big selection of beer and spirits. I think the main dishes are not as good as the starter dishes so we normally just order the latter. The sesame honey chicken, salt and pepper prawns and crispy lamb are delicious. Overall highly recommended!
I thought the food came out quickly which was a bit suspicious because felt like it was all predone. Most of it tasted okay! But the egg in our curry was cold in the middle. I also found it weird that they specified when asking for payment that service charge wasn't included (felt like they were asking for it). The best dish was the garlic chilli mogo.
Great place and great service. I had chicken lollipop, chilli lamb and fried corn for starters - excellent taste. Then I went for chicken korma and garlic naan - naan and korma curry was great but chicken tasted out of flavour.
