We have never been disappointed by Fortune. We have had delivery/take away from here many many times. Reliably delicious! Coaches full of Chinese tourists pull up to be fed here most days so it must be good....Fully recommend our local Chinese.
It's not difficult to find good Chinese cuisine in the UK, including Sichuan dishes.
However, my partner insisted that the Edible Frog Hot Pot at this restaurant is the best Chinese dish they have ever had in the UK! Personally, I think it's quite good, but I must admit that finding the Edible Frog Hot Pot is not easy!

Hot & sour soup was super tasty; Singapur noodles ok - too large of a portion for me ;-)) paid &19.40 for those and a 0.3 bottle of beer ;-)) could do with a bit cleaner bathroom ;-//
We were surprised by the food value from Shi Fu, tasted very authentic which is way better than most Chinese restaurants in Chinatown! Ordered spicy chicken (highly recommended 5/5), boiling Sichuan spicy beef (4/5) and Mapo tofu (4/5), the portion is big and all delicious! If you are craving for spicy Chinese food, don’t miss it out!
The nicest Chinese meal we have had and we have travelled around the world. Cannot fault it in any way at all. Food was hot and incredibly tasty. Staff friendly, if only we lived closer.
The King Prawn with vegetables (and a side of white rice) is a lovely dish, with nice, juicy prawns, and lots of sliced veg, too.
My only criticism of this restaurant, is they continue to bring out the starter immediately followed by the main course, so I have not finished the starter and the main course turns up!
I have asked for them not to do this, and now only order a main course, as even when I have asked for the main course not not be brought out when I am still eating the starter - they still do it!
Surprisingly nice and peaceful ambience inside. Food was good but soup size felt too small.

The food was quite nice and good for the price.
The jasmine tea was also quite calming 😌
Pretty good value. We ordered 2 fried rice together with sweet and sour pork. The special fried rice is actually yangzhou fried rice and pretty good. The Malaysian coconut chicken fried rice is not to my taste: the coconut sauce tastes quite sweet so you're not sure whether you're eating main or dessert. Sweet and sour pork is good too. Would come back again!
The review score is not justified by the food! They have switched owners so if you look at recent reviews they are all 4-5 ⭐️
Went to this restaurant two days in a row. LOVE it
really nice Chinese food and really cheap!
