Mission Sato

Angelo Sato's bento box kiosk inside Old Street Station is the best kind of fast food in that it clearly wasn't made quickly at all. The Story and Eleven Madison Park vet shows his mastery through subtle combinations of flavors from fresh ingredients. Unlike Made Nice in NYC, Mission Sato's casual takeaway works brilliantly. Angelo's sister was working the kiosk and mentioned that the salmon is flown in daily from Scotland with other fresh ingredients coming from Japan. I got the "Fantasy of salmon" which stayed true to its name with salmon in different forms plus more in beautiful bites of happiness. Each roll shows care and a delicate touch. At 8.50, it's an amazing lunch deal. I hope to see more of these kiosks around the city!
