Sankofa Restaurant

A great find! Visited there with my partner and we were not disappointed. With so many great options of food to pick from, we felt teased and ordered quite a variety of food for just the two of us which we took time over and finished! The fish was amazing and definitely my favourite dish of all that we ordered. The lady taking the orders and running the bar was very friendly and polite and took time to check that all was OK with our meal and by the end of our visit it felt like we were talking to one of our own sisters! The chef is an amazing cook and did not disappoint in any way. He definitely knows how to throw it down in the kitchen and he also took the time to check in with us and make sure that there wasn't anything else that we needed/wanted. The restaurant is very clean as was the bathroom which is always a bonus! There is also a large variety of drinks available to purchase and the prices of both the food and the beverages were reasonable. The restaurant is quite known as there were a lot of people in and out that night for both dine in and take away options. I cook a lot of this type of food myself at home but if I lived closer I would definitely visit more often just for the experience of it all. Thank you for having us and giving us good quality food. Your service is amazing and we can't wait to get back with the children next time 😀

The food here is wonderful, staff are also very friendly. When I get a craving for Ghanaian food, this is the only place I come to. I came to this restaurant to order a Takeaway, really nice place. I ordered Kontomire Stew on its own and Beans Stew, both of which I have ordered before and very delicious and I couldn't wait to get home to eat it. Very generous portions and very well wrapped, so it does not leak. I have had the Stews here before with Meat and Fish and they are also delicious. Their Jollof Rice is also amazing, so many lovely dishes on the menu. Looking forward to my next visit, to enjoy more tasty food.

I want to begin by saying the food was so incredibly yummy, my friends and I were all dipping in eachother's plates during dinner. The customer service was also superb, the server was patient with me and even allowed me to sample some of the soup that I was hesitant to order. I am orignially from NYC and was just visiting London but definitely plan on returning here next time I'm in London. Cheers
